Schaken

Mijn neefje was jarig en ik moest een leuke kaart verzinnen. Aangezien hij digitaal met mijn zoon schaakt, vond ik het wel leuk om een kaart te maken met schaakstukken. Ik ben even bij etsy gaan kijken naar een snij-bestand en toen kwam ik deze 3d tegen. Toen kwam het idee om het te combineren met de Tiny Trees Pop-Up (1156). De onderkant is van de tiny trees. Het schaakbord heb ik van het picknick kleed  uit de Picnic Elements (1159) gemaakt. Dan nog wat uiltjes (Feathered Animals 1075) en een vierkant (Squares - Crosshatch 1056) om iets op te schrijven.

Chess

It was my nephew's birthday and I had to come up with a nice card. Since he plays digital chess with my son, I thought it would be fun to make a card with chess pieces. I went to Etsy to look for a cutting file and then I came across this 3D. Then the idea came to combine it with the Tiny Trees Pop-Up (1156). The bottom is of the tiny trees. I got the chessboard from the picnic rug  made from the Picnic Elements (1159). Then some owls (Feathered Animals 1075) and a square (Squares - Crosshatch 1056) to write something on.

Tandenfee

Volgens mij weet iedereen wel over wie ik het dan heb. Nu vond ik het wel leuk om een kaart te maken voor mijn tandarts. Ik ben erg blij met mijn tandart. Ik ben namelijk geen fan, maar toen ik haar kreeg is mijn angst helemaal weg. Als kaart heb ik het thema tandenfee genomen. Nu zijn er niet gek veel dies van tanden, dus die heb ik met mijn snijmachine gesneden. Als basis heb ik de Fancy Label Accordion (1043). De bloemetjes zijn van de Fun Flower (1234) en het randje van de Long Nature Edges 2 (1178). De kroontjes en toverstaf komen uit de Princess and Mermaid (1036). 

Ze vond het erg leuk om een keertje een kaart te krijgen.

Tooth fairy

I think everyone knows who I'm talking about. Now I thought it would be fun to make a card for my dentist. I am very happy with my dentist. I'm not a fan, but when I got her my fear completely disappeared. I chose the tooth fairy theme as a card. Now there aren't that many teeth dies, so I cut them with my cutting machine. I use the Fancy Label Accordion (1043) as a basis. The flowers are from the Fun Flower (1234) and the edge from the Long Nature Edges 2 (1178). The crowns and magic wand come from the Princess and Mermaid (1036). 

She really enjoyed receiving a card once.

Wiskunde kaart

Vandaag op mijn blog een kaart voor mijn neefje Niels. Niels houd van wiskunde. Dus ik heb mijn zoon gevraagd om een leuke wiskundige formule met de uitkomt van zijn leeftijd. Een faculteit. 1x2x3x4  is 24 en dan -1 = 23 jaar.

Om het wat meer aan te kleden heb ik de driehoeken gebruikt. Ook een beetje wiskundig. 
Nu houd Niels ook van thee, dus ik vond het wel leuk om de nieuwe Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269) hier voor te gebruiken.

Mathematics card

Today on my blog a card for my nephew Niels. Niels likes mathematics. So I asked my son for a fun math formula based on his age. A faculty. 1x2x3x4  is 24 and then -1 = 23 years.

To dress it up a bit more I used the triangles. Also a bit mathematical. 
Now Niels also likes tea, so I thought it would be fun to use the new Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269) for this.

Gebroken voet

Vandaag een kaartje op mijn blog voor Karen Burniston her self. Ze heeft laatst de laatste traptrede gemist en brak haar voet. Ik heb dit kaartje voor haar gemaakt. Ze heeft de kaart nog op tijd gekregen, maar kaarten versturen naar Amerika duurt steeds langer.

Als basis heb ik de Stocking Pop-up (1248) gebruikt. De stocking heb ik met stukjes wit papier bedekt zodat het lijkt alsof er verband omheen zit.

Met de Fun Flowers (1234) heb ik een boeketje gemaakt die uit de stocking komt.  De tekst komt uit de Get Well Charms (1072) set en het gedeelte waar ik op kan schrijven is van de Short Rectangles - Crosshatch (1199).

Broken food

Today a card on my blog for Karen Burniston her self. She recently missed the last step of the stairs and broke her foot. I made this card for her. She received the card on time, but sending cards to America is taking longer and longer.

I used the Stocking Pop-up (1248) as a basis. I covered the stocking with pieces of white paper so that it looks like there is a bandage around it.

I made a bouquet with the Fun Flowers (1234) that comes out of the stocking.  The text is from the Get Well Charms (1072) set and the part I can write on is from the Short Rectangles - Crosshatch (1199).

Mijn schip

Ik wilde al een poosje een schip maken. Dus toen ik bedacht dat ik voor mijn grote nicht, die van aquariums houd, een verjaardagskaart zou maken, moest het er een keertje van komen. Ik heb hem zelf gemaakt, maar dan wel met het Tiny house als beginsel. Hieronder heb ik een foto geplaatst met de afmetingen. Het schip heb ik van een voorbeeld getekend. Voor de rest heb ik het schip versierd met onderwater dingen.

My ship

I've wanted to make a ship for a while. So when I thought I would make a birthday card for my niece, who loves aquariums, I had to do it. I made it myself, but with the Tiny house as a principle. Below I have posted a photo with the dimensions. I drew the ship from an example. I decorated the ship with underwater things.

Challenge kaart DC 80 - Theme: "Thirst quencher"

Vandaag is het weer tijd voor een challenge kaart. Als uitdaging moest ik een drankje gebruiken. Ik heb van Stampin'Up! papier met het thema koffie, dus ik vond het wel een leuk excuus om die weer te gebruiken. Nu ik erover ne denk. De vorige challenge kaart is van dat zelfde pak papier gemaakt. Ik hou gewoon van koffie en thee. Of chocolade melk, hihi.

Today it's time for a challenge card again. As a challenge I had to use a drink. I got Stampin' Up! paper with the coffee theme, so I thought it was a nice excuse to use it again. Now that I think about it. The previous challenge card was made from that same pack of paper. I just love coffee and tea. Or chocolate milk, hihi.

Rust zacht

Vandaag gaat over mijn schoonvader. Hij is dinsdag middag, na 5 dagen waken, overleden. Vandaag zou zijn verjaardag zijn geweest. Vandaag nemen we afscheid. Dat is wel een mooie gedachten.
Mijn schoonvader was een fantastische opa. Daar ging hij helemaal voor. Hij hield van kaarten (bridge en klaverjassen) en op iedere verjaardag kwam de bos atlas altijd tevoorschijn om het een het ander op te zoeken.

Today is about my father-in-law. He died on Tuesday afternoon. Today would have been his birthday. Today we say goodbye. That's a nice thought. My father-in-law was a wonderful grandfather. He was all about that. He loved cards (bridge and Klaverjacks) and on every birthday the atlas always came out to look up one thing after another.
