Gefrituurde aardappel stokjes

Keyon heeft een klasgenootje die een Minecraft server heeft. Dus het was logisch dat ik een kaart ging maken met een Minecraft thema. Erg leuk, maar het miste nog iets. Dus toen ik vroeg wat ik nog meer kon gebruiken, kwam hij met de gefrituurde aardappel stokjes. Ik moest wel even lachen. Je kan ook gewoon patat zeggen, maar nee, maak het luxe en je krijgt gefrituurde aardappel stokjes. Zo krijg je deze kaart.

Fried potato sticks

Keyon has a classmate who has a Minecraft server. So it made sense to make a card with a Minecraft theme. Very nice, but it was still missing something. So when I asked what else I could use, he brought up the fried potato sticks. That was funny. You can also just say fries, but no, make it fancy and you get fried potato sticks. That's how you get this card.

Een andere zee kaart

Vandaag een kaart die ik voor Laura haar verjaardag heb gemaakt. Dit zijn allemaal merken door elkaar. Lawn Fawn, Marianne design en Karen Burniston. Ik wist niet zo goed wat ik voor Laura moest maken. Kasteel en eenhoorns heb ik al een kaartje gemaakt, dus ik ben voor gewoon schattig gegaan en waar ik zin in had om te maken. De zon met haar gezichtje vind ik erg schattig.

A other sea card

Today a card I made for Laura's birthday. These are all brands mixed up. Lawn Fawn, Marianne Design and Karen Burniston. I wasn't sure what to make for Laura. Castle and unicorns I already used, so I went for just cute and what I felt like making. I think the sun with her face is very cute.

De kaart die ik voor de blog hop heb gemaakt is geïnspireerd voor iets wat ik op de facebook peeps heb gezien. Een paar jaar terug was er al een dame die in de flap van de envelop een mechanisme had verwerkt. Een paar weken geleden zag ik weer een kaart voorbij komen. John Watterson had een kaart gemaakt met de collage die. Dus voor deze kaart heb ik een envelop gemaakt en als een soort achtergrond geplaatst.

The card I made for the blog hop was inspired by something I saw on the facebook peeps. A few years ago there was already a lady who had incorporated a mechanism in the flap of the envelope. A few weeks ago I saw another card pass by. John Watterson had made a card with the collage die. So for this card I made an envelope and placed it as a background.

Mijn laatste Sneak Peek

Dit is de laatste sneak peek voordat de blog hop komt. Ik heb voor deze kaart de Little twist panel Pop-up gebruikt (1232). Omdat deze kaart voor mijn tante word en die naaister/coupeuse  is geweest heb ik de sewing charms gebruikt om de klaart aan te kleden. Ik vind de knoopjes zo leuk. En ik heb met een lintje gewerkt. Dit vergeet ik vaak, maar nu had ik het nodig om een rand weg te werken. Zo zie je niet dat ik twee stukjes DSP aan elkaar heb gelegd.

Last Sneak Peek

This is the last sneak peek before the blog hop comes. I used the Little twist panel Pop-up (1232) for this card . Because this card is going to be for my aunt and she was a seamstress/dresser, I used the sewing charms to dress up the card. I like the buttons so much. And I worked with a ribbon. I often forget this, but now I needed to get rid of an edge. So you can't see that I put two pieces of DSP together.

Under the sea

Vandaag twee kaarten gemaakt met de nieuwe release. Deze eerste kaart heb ik aan Karen gestuurd. Ik wilde haar bedanken dat we een nachtje bij haar mochten slapen toen we een dagje in Houston vastzaten omdat we de vlucht naar Nederland hadden gemist. Nu doe ik niet zoveel met woord spelingen maar deze kwam spontaan. Omdat de kaart van een bodem van de zee was, kwam de dank je wel, diep uit mijn hart in me op. Maar goed, in het Nederlands loopt het niet lekker. Vertaal je het in het Nederlands dan loopt hij beter. "Thank you from the bottom of mij hart". Dus als jullie de nieuwe release film bekijken dat zal ze die daar laten zien.

De tweede kaart is net iets anders en heb ik gemaakt voor de buurvrouw van mijn moeder. Ik maak niet zoveel zee kaarten en dit was erg leuk om te maken.

Under the sea 

Made two cards today with the new release. I sent this first card to Karen. I wanted to thank her for letting us spend the night with her when we were stuck in Houston for a day because we missed the flight to the Netherlands. Now I don't do much with wordplay but this one came spontaneously. Since the card was of a bottom of the sea, the thank you came from deep in my heart in my mind. Anyway, this does not sounds good in Dutch. If you translate it into Englisch, it will run better. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart". So if you watch the new release movie, she will show this card. The second card is slightly different and I made it for my mother's neighbour. I don't make much sea maps and this was a lot of fun to make.

De volgende Sneak Peek

Vandaag de kaarten met de strandbar. De tiny house met de Beach-bar  add ons zijn geweldig. Het zijn twee verjaardagskaarten. Bij de één heb ik vlaggetjes gebruikt en bij de andere de sliert met lampjes. De lampjes komen uit de animal add-ons (1147). Een vrolijke zomerse verjaardagskaart.

Today the cards with the beach bar. The tiny house with the beach bar add ons are great. It's two birthday cards. With one I used flags and with the other the string of lights. The lights come from the animal add-ons (1147). A happy summer birthday card.

Sneak Peek!

Voor deze sneak peek heb ik de Little Twist Panel Pop-up (1232) gebruikt. Ik kwam tijdens het maken van deze kaart achter dat ik mijn bloemen heel ver kon laten uitsteken. Dit vergroot het wouw gevoel als je hem open maakt.

For this sneak peek I used the Little Twist Panel Pop-up (1232). While making this card I discovered that I could make my flowers stick out very far. This increases the wow feeling when you open it.

Vandaag een blog met allemaal cadeautjes. Ik vind het nooit zo leuk om zomaar geld te geven dus als je het leuk inpakt is het net een cadeautje. Ook heb ik een Tony chocolade reep gemaakt. Die vond ik zo leuk. Ik heb voor het papier even in mijn la gegeven. Ik vond nog wat leuk papier.

Party!

Today a blog with all gifts. I never like to give money just like that, so if you wrap it nicely it's like a present. I also made a Tony chocolate bar. I liked that one so much. I gave for the paper in my drawer. I found some nice paper.

Desing challenge 66: Wedding, Anniversary or Valentines

En ik heb voor Valentijn gekozen. Ik wilde een keertje een schutkaart proberen te maken. Dus mijn hartje op de voorkant is om te schudden. Aan de binnenkant heb ik de Spinner Square Pop-up (1042) gebruikt. Ik heb twee kaarten gemaakt. Eentje heb ik gewoon het vierkant gebruikt en bij die andere heb ik een hart gebruikt. De meeste hartjes komen van de Hearts Crosshatch (1191). Ik heb er heerlijk mee zitten spelen. Zo kun je zien dat ik ook open hartjes heb. Ook erg leuk. Dan heb ik voor de vierkanten de Squares Crosshatch (1056) en de Word Set 9 - Love (1083) gebruikt.

Desing challenge 66: Wedding, Anniversary or Valentines

And I chose Valentine. I wanted to try making a shaker card. So my heart on the front is to shake. On the inside I used the Spinner Square Pop-up (1042). I made two cards. One I just used the square and with the other one I used a heart. Most hearts come from the Hearts Crosshatch (1191). I enjoyed playing with it. So you can see that I also have open hearts.  I also used the Squares Crosshatch (1056) and the Word Set 9 - Love (1083) for the squares.

Workshop Karen

Na thuiskomst uit Amerika, heb ik een zoom workshop met Karen gedaan. Dat was heel erg leuk. Ik moest alleen zelf het papier uitzoeken, Nu vroeg ze me om de kaarten op de site te zetten zodat iedereen het resultaat kon zien met ander papier. Bij deze dus de kaarten die Karen heeft bedacht en ik in elkaar het gezet. Nu heb ik een paar uitdagingen dit jaar. Één daarvan is 12 keer de zoomworkshop van Karen meedoen. En dan zelf het papier erbij zoeken. Willen jullie wat ik nog meer als uitdaging ga doen? Daar zal ik wat meer over vertellen als de sneak peeks live gaan. Dus nog heel even wachten.

Workshop Karen

After returning home from America, I did a zoom workshop with Karen. That was very nice. I only had to choose the paper myself. She asked me to put the cards on the site so that everyone could see the result with different paper. So here are the cards that Karen came up with and I put together. I have a few challenges this year. One of them is participating in Karen's zoom workshop 12 times. And then look for the paper yourself. Do you want what else I'm going to do as a challenge? I'll tell you more about that when the sneak peeks go live. So wait a little longer.

Treinen liefhebber

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor Aeden. Hij houd van treinen. Ik had geen zin in de pivot panel kaart. Maar ik kan natuurlijk de trein ook op een andere kaart zetten. Dus ik heb een kaart gepakt waarvan ik de lengte lang kan maken. Ik heb de Charm Accordion Die Set (1007) gekozen. De trein vervoer cupcakejes en is versiert met vlaggetjes. Als versiering wat muzieknootjes. Zo lijkt het net of de trein Happy Birthday zingt. 

Train lover

I made this card for Aeden. He likes trains. I didn't feel like a pivot panel card. But of course I can also put the train on a different card. So I took a card that I can make the length long. I chose the Charm Accordion Die Set (1007). The train transports cupcakes and is decorated with flags. Some music notes as decoration. It looks like the train is singing Happy Birthday.
