Halloween met Inge

Hier in Nederland doen we niet echt aan Halloween. Nu heeft Stampin'Up! wel een heleboel leuke producten en dus ging het wel een beetje kriebelen. Dit had Inge ook en dus besloten we voor elkaar een leuke Halloween kaart te maken.

Nu had ik vorig jaar al een hele leuke kaart gezien die Karen Burniston had gemaakt. Met twee spinnenwebben. Nu was het een mooie gelegenheid om een soort gelijke kaart te maken.

Ik heb naast de zwart en zilver mijn voorkeur gegeven aan wat paars tinten. Purple Pusy, Highland Heather en Gorgeous Grape.

Here in the Netherlands we don't really do Halloween. Stampin'Up! has a lot of nice products and so it started to itch a bit. Inge had this too and so we decided to make a nice Halloween card for each other.

Last year I had already seen a very nice card that Karen Burniston had made. With two cobwebs. It was a good opportunity to create a similar card.

In addition to the black and silver, I have preferred some shades of purple. Purple Pusy, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

Eindelijk verhuisd

Het zat al een poosje in de planning. Het huisje is nu afgebouwd en mijn moeder is verhuisd. Net voordat ze ging verhuizen kwam Karin Burniston met een challenge kaart en die vond ik zo geweldig dat ik wist dat ik hem een beetje moest namaken. Ik had geen 10 huisjes nodig, maar twee huisjes en een snelweg. Met een autootje en een paar ballonnen.

It had been in the planning for a while. The house has now been finished and my mother has moved. Just before she moved, Karin Burniston came up with a challenge card, which I thought was so great that I had to copy it a bit. I didn't need 10 houses, but two houses and a highway. With a car and a few balloons.

Na een weekje rust

Vandaag is mijn andere schoonzus jarig. Zij houd veel van tuinieren en dus heb ik een kaart gemaakt met dat thema. De ringetjes die ik heb gebruikt heb ik bij haar gekocht en ben ik gaan experimenteren met het solderen van de ringetjes. Ik vind het nog steeds lastig, maar het vergrootglas van mijn moeder hielp wel een beetje.
De Charm Accordion Die Set vind ik een leuke set. De charms die je eraan kan hangen vind ik iets speels geven.

Today is my other sister-in-law's birthday. She loves gardening and so I made a card with that theme. I bought the rings I used from her and I started experimenting with soldering the rings. I still find it difficult, but my mother's magnifying glass helped a bit.
I think the Charm Accordion Die Set is a fun set. Hanging the charms, gives something playful.

En de laatste verjaardag

Vandaag is mijn schoonzus jarig. Ze wil heel graag een hond (tekkel). Dus als cadeautje, een hond in zijn hondenhok. Ik heb de Barn die gebruik om het hondenhok te monteren. Wat botjes en een happy Birthday.

Today is my sister-in-law's birthday. She really wants a dog (dachshund). So as a gift, a dog in his doghouse. I used the Barn die to assemble the doghouse. Some bones and a happy Birthday.

Fortnite

Vrijdag 4 oktober had ik verjaardag nummer 3. Tigo werd 12 jaar en de gegevens die ik had waren de kleur rood en Fortnite. Eerst wilde ik de bus met de luchtballon maken, maar na twee pogingen heb ik dat opzij gelegd. Toen ben ik de lama gaan proberen. Nee, dat ging ook niet helemaal zoals ik wilde. Ineens had ik een idee. De fotocollage van Karen Burniston moest ik nog een keertje maken, dus ik op zoek naar wat leuke plaatjes van Fortnite en verkleinen naar 1,25 inch. Uiteindelijk is dit de kaart geworden.

Friday October 4 I had birthday number 3. Tigo turned 12 and the data I had were the color red and Fortnite. First I wanted to make the bus with the hot air balloon, but after two attempts I put that aside. Then I went to try the lama. No, that didn't go exactly the way I wanted. Suddenly I had an idea. I still had to make the Karen Burniston photo collage, so I looked for some nice pictures of Fortnite and reduced to 1.25 inch. This is the card.

En dan nu Joost

Vandaag is Joost jarig. Hij is automonteur, dus een kaart met een auto. Ik heb nog niet echt iets voor tafeltennis, misschien volgend jaar wel.

And from now on for my fans who can't read Dutch:
Today is Joost's birthday. He is a car mechanic, so a card with a car. I don't really have anything for table tennis yet, that's his hobby, maybe next year.

Mijn broertjes

Mijn broertjes zijn tweeling. Een bijzondere tweeling. Eentje is jarig op 1 oktober en de ander op 2 oktober. Zo hebben ze alle twee hun eigen verjaardag. Dus vandaag begin ik met de kaart voor Kick. Hij houd van fietsen door de Utrechtse Heuvelrug, dus ik hoop dat deze kaart dat een beetje weergeeft.

My brothers are twins. A special twin. One has a birthday on October 1 and the other on October 2. This way they both have their own birthday. So today I start with the card for Kick. He likes cycling through the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, so I hope this map reflects that.
