Snoepjes en olifantjes

Vandaag een kaart met een heleboel snoepjes en mijn favoriete olifantjes. Ik vind dit olifantje leuk omdat ik hem kan laten zitten. Iets te maken met een jeugdherinnering. Maar goed, Ik heb de nieuwe labels genomen Topper Tags (1253). Ik heb de grootste label gebruikt. Aan de binnenkant heb ik het mechanisme gebruikt van de Tag Book Pop-up (1023), Om het een en ander weg te werken heb ik de grootste tag nog 4 keer uitgedraaid en met zo een randje kleiner gemaakt zodat hij precies het mechanisme kon verbergen. De hartjes komen uit de Candy Hearts Box (1256). Dan heb ik de nieuwe Happy Valentine's Day Shadow (1252) en Happy Valentine's Day (1114) op de voorkant geplakt.

Candies and elephants

Today a card with a lot of sweets and my favorite elephants. I like this little elephant because I can make him sit. Something to do with a childhood memory. Anyway, I took the new labels Topper Tags (1253). I used the largest label. On the inside I used the mechanism of the Tag Book Pop-up (1023). To get rid of some things, I die cate the largest tag 4 times and made an edge smaller so that it could exactly hide the mechanism. The hearts come from the Candy Hearts Box (1256). Then I added the new Happy Valentine's Day Shadow (1252) and Happy Valentine's Day (1114) to the front.

KB Riley LLC December 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hi Crafty Friends, 

Vandaag is het weer tijd voor de Blog Hop. Ik heb voor de bloghop gekozen voor de Birthday Candle add ons (1258). Ik wilde heel graag een kerstkaart daar mee maken. Dus uit de Stocking Pop-up (1248) heb ik de hust blaadjes gebruikt. Dit maakt het al erg kerst. Nu ik de stocking Pop-up op mijn buro had liggen, dacht ik dat het wel leuk zou zijn om die aan de uiteinden te gebruiken. De eerste heb ik een stukje afgesneden. Zo kon het rendier uit de Christmas Animals (1061) mooi in de sok zitten. De randen heb ik versiert met de snoepjes uit de Christmas Borders 1 (1245).

Today it's time for the Blog Hop again. I chose the Birthday Candle add ons (1258) for the blog hop. I really wanted to make a Christmas card with that. So I used the holly leaves from the Stocking Pop-up (1248). This makes it very Christmasy. Now that I had the stocking Pop-up on my desk, I thought it would be nice to use it at the ends. I cut off a piece of the first one. This way, the reindeer from the Christmas Animals (1061) could sit nicely in the stocking. I decorated the edges with the candies from Christmas Borders 1 (1245).

Snoep hartjes met tekst

Deze kaart heb ik uitgepakt met de snoephartjes met tekst erop. Wie kent die snoepjes nu niet. Ik vond ze zo leuk dat ik er een kaart voor heb bedacht.  Ik heb weer de Raising Platform Pop Up gebruikt. Dit keer heb ik een groot hart uitgedraaid en diagonaal gevouwen. Vervolgens een heleboel van die snoep hartjes uit de Candy Hearts box (1256) in een paar kleuren uitgedraaid en op het grote hart geplakt. 

Candy hearts with text

I went wild with the candy hearts with text on them. Who doesn't know those sweets? I liked them so much that I came up with a card for them.  I used the Raising Platform Pop Up again. This time I turned out a large heart and folded it diagonally. Then I die cut a lot of those candy hearts from the Candy Hearts box (1256) in a few colors and glued them onto the big heart.

Mijn vierde kaart (eigenlijk twee) heb ik een soort foto collage gemaakt met de nieuwe Raising Platform Pop Up (1254). Ik heb een grote polaroid gemaakt en die schuin gevouwen. Daarna heb ik de kleine polaroids er omheen geplakt. Ik heb de diertje op kleur uitgekozen. Zo is het een kleurrijke kaart geworden. Een aantal diertjes hebben ook een camera in hun handen. Die komt uit de Memory Charms (1108). Nu heb ik 1 happy Birthday kaart en die andere is een Happy Valentines kaart. De roze hartjes komen uit de Hearts add ons. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik de Happy Valentines Day Shadow (1252) net de Happy Valentines Day (1114) gebruikt.

For my fourth card (actually two) I made a kind of photo collage with the new Raising Platform Pop Up (1254). I made a large Polaroid and folded it diagonally. Then I glued the small Polaroids around it. I chose the animal by color. This is how it has become a colorful card. A number of animals also have a camera in their hands. That comes from the Memory Charms (1108). Now I have one Happy Birthday card and the other is a Happy Valentines card. The pink hearts come from the Hearts add-ons. On the front of the card I used the Happy Valentines Day Shadow (1252) and the Happy Valentines Day (1114).

Nijntje

Vandaag kaart nummer drie. Ik had de dies net binnen gekregen toen ik een opdracht kreeg voor een kaartje met Nijntje. Hier in Nederland hebben we een winkel (HEMA) en die hebben Nijntje spullen. Dus ik dacht, misschien hebben ze ook papier. Nou echt geweldig papier. Ik heb de Birthday Candle Add ons gebruikt van de nieuwe release. Bij een kopje thee hoort natuurlijk een cupcakeje. Deze komen uit de Cupcake Add-ons (1241). Deze set heeft ook sprinkels en vrolijke sliertjes.

 
Miffy

Today card number three. I had just received the dies when I received an order for a card with Miffy. Here in the Netherlands we have a store (HEMA) and they have Miffy stuff. So I thought, maybe they have paper too. Well really great paper. I used the Birthday Candle Add ons from the new release. A cup of tea naturally includes a cupcake. These come from the Cupcake Add-ons (1241). This set also has sprinkles and cheerful strings.

Nog eentje

Vandaag mijn tweede kaart met de nieuwe release dies. Ik heb de Raising Platform Pop-up (1254) gebruikt. Toen ik hem zag, moest ik meteen aan een boek denken. Ik ben op zoek gegaan naar een mooi papiertje op de Kreadoe (een grote knutselbeurs hier in Nederland). Daar kwam ik mooi papier tegen met bijpassende uitgesneden plaatjes.

Another one

Today my second card with the new release dies. I used the Raising Platform Pop-up (1254). When I saw it, I immediately thought of a book. I went looking for a nice piece of paper at the Kreadoe (a large craft fair here in the Netherlands). There I came across beautiful paper with matching cut-out pictures.

Designer Challenge 76, december 2023

En deze keer "naughty or nice? Maak een kaart met een stocking. Ik heb de stocking van de Stocking Pop-up (1248) gepakt. Als basis de Rockin' Rectangle Pop-up (1089). In mijn bloghop kaart die volgende week live gaat,  heb ik ook een stocking gebruikt met een rendier erin. Dat vond ik zo leuk dat ik dat met deze kaart ook heb gedaan. Voor nog meer stockings heb ik de Christmas Borders 2 (1246) erbij gepakt. Om wat op te schrijven heb ik een stocking uit wit gedraaid, 

Designer Challenge 76, december 2023

And this time "naughty or nice? Make a card with a stocking. I took the stocking from the Stocking Pop-up (1248). As a basis the Rockin' Rectangle Pop-up (1089). In my blog hop card that next week goes live, I also used a stocking with a reindeer in it. I liked that so much that I did the same with this card. For even more stockings I used the Christmas Borders 2 (1246). to write, I made a stocking from white, 

Karen Burniston's Sneakpeek release December 2023

Vandaag is de dag van de sneakpeek. En wat een geweldige release is het geworden. Vandaag begin ik met de Birthday Candle Add ons (1258). Deze add ons gebruik je met de Fancy Label Accordion (1043). Wat heb ik een lol gehad bij het maken van deze kaart. De kaarsjes hebben gouden vlammetjes en ik heb egeltjes die een kaars vasthouden. Als tekst heb ik de Happy Birthday en de shadow gebruikt.

Morgen ben ik er weer, dan met de challange kaart, maar op het moment dat ik dit zit te typen (zondagavond 23:30) moet ik nog wel aan mijn kaart beginnen. Dat wordt nog even hard werken.

Karen Burniston's Sneakpeek release December 2023

Today is the day of the sneak peek. And what a great release it has become. Today I start with the Birthday Candle Add ons (1258). You can use this add-on with the Fancy Label Accordion (1043). I had so much fun making this card. The candles have golden flames and I have hedgehogs holding a candle. I used the Happy Birthday and the shadow as text.

I'll be back tomorrow, with the challenge card, but at the moment I'm typing this (Sunday evening 11:30 PM) I still have to start working on my card.

Een eigen huisje

Als je als mijn neefje of nichtje op jezelf gaat wonen dan krijg je natuurlijk een kaart. Deze kaart heb ik voor mijn neefje gemaakt die op zichzelf is gaan wonen. Nu was het rond Halloween, dus ik dacht dat het wel leuk was om een griezelhuisje te maken. De randen komen uit Halloween Borders (1247). Ik vind de pompoenen erg gaaf. De tekst heb ik met de Mini Alphabet and Numbers (1197) gemaakt.

A house of your own

If you are going to live on your own as my nephew or niece, you will of course receive a card. I made this card for my nephew who has gone to live on his own. Now it was around Halloween, so I thought it would be fun to make a haunted house. The borders are from Halloween Borders (1247). I really like the pumpkins. I made the sentiment with the Mini Alphabet and Numbers (1197).

Geldkaart

Vandaag een leuke geldkaart voor een puber. Ik ben begonnen met een heleboel briefjes van 10 euro uit te printen. Met de Snowman Twist Circle Die Set (1012) een soort waaier van geld. In de handen van de hond heb ik een geld bedrag van 16 euro zitten. Deze puber werd 16 jaar.

Money card

Today a nice money card for a teenager. I started by printing out a lot of 10 euro notes. With the Snowman Twist Circle Die Set (1012) a kind of fan of money. In the dog's hands I have a sum of 16 euros. This teenager turned 16 years old.

Terug uit Parijs

Mijn plan was om in Parijs lekker iedere dag een kaart op mijn blog te zetten, maar bij aankomst in ons appartement kwamen we tot de conclusie dat, jawel het kan nog in deze tijd, er geen internet was. Het was dus wat ingewikkeld. Moest ik met een hotspot werken en zo. Dus ik heb maar gewoon volop genoten van een paar dagen genieten van de rust en mijn man.

De kaarten van vandaag heb ik voor een paar mannen gemaakt. Ze zijn allemaal op de leeftijd, dat ze weten wat een cassettebandje is. Een beetje een muziek kaart, dus ook een LP en een walkman erbij. Als basis heb ik de Spinner Square Pop-up (1042) gebruikt.

Back from Paris

My plan was to post a card on my blog every day in Paris, but upon arrival at our apartment we came to the conclusion that, yes, it is still possible in this day and age, there was no internet. So it was a bit complicated. Did I have to work with a hotspot and such. So I just thoroughly enjoyed a few days of peace and quiet with my husband. 

I made today's cards for a few men. They're all at the age where they know what a cassette tape is. A bit of a music card, so also an LP and a Walkman. I used the Spinner Square Pop-up (1042) as a base.

Biertje

Mijn man wilde zijn collega even feliciteren met zijn promotie, dus vroeg hij aan mij om een mooie kaart te maken. Zijn collega is een bier drinker, dus ik dacht meteen aan de six-pack bier. Ook had ik leuk bier papier gescoord. Ik vind hem echt geweldig geworden.

Beer

My husband wanted to congratulate his colleague on his promotion, so he asked me to make a nice card. His colleague is a beer drinker, so I immediately thought of the six-pack of beer. I also scored some nice beer paper. I think it turned out really great.

Challange card 75: What's cooking

Voor deze challange moest ik de Oven Pop-up (1250) gebruiken. Ik had voor de release al een idee om een vieze keuken to maken. Een poes die er een beetje een zootje van maakt. Maar omdat ik toen niet zoveel tijd had, heb ik hem nu maar gemaakt. Zoals je ziet ligt er overal beslag en sprinkels. Koekjes die gebakken zijnm maar ook koekjes die nog in de oven moeten. De icing op de koekjes zijn gemaakt van de cupcake sprinkels (Cupcake Add-ons(1241)). Bekijk de foto maar goed dat zie je iedere keer wat anders.

Challange card 75: What's cooking

For this challenge I had to use the Oven Pop-up (1250). Before the release I already had an idea to make a dirty kitchen. A cat that makes a bit of a mess. But because I didn't have much time at the time, I made it now. As you can see, there is batter and sprinkles everywhere. Cookies that have been baked, but also cookies that still need to be put in the oven. The icing on the cookies is made from the cupcake sprinkles (Cupcake Add-ons(1241)). Take a good look at the photo, you will see something different every time.

De eiffeltoren

Wat vind ik de Eiffeltoren toch geweldig. En over de Eiffeltoren gesproken. Ik ga over iets meer dan een week met Ronald naar Parijs. Dan ga ik voor het eerst in de Eiffeltoren. Ik heb er al een paar keer voor gestaan, maar toen vonden de mensen met wie ik was het te druk. Dus dan zeg ik al gauw, ok, komt nog wel eens een keertje. Dus na jaren daar grapjes over gemaakt te hebben, is het dan bijna zover. Ik heb er erg veel zin in. 

Maar goed, nu even over de kaart. Deze kaart is voor Roos en Roos is het tweelingzusje van Guus. De vorige blog stand de kaart van Guus. Roos houd van make-up dus ik dacht meteen aan Parijs. En dan is de weg erg kort om dan ook de Eiffeltoren van Karen erbij te pakken. Roos is fan van de kleur blauw. De jurk is van Marianne Design.

The Eiffeltower

I think the Eiffel Tower is amazing. And speaking of the Eiffel Tower. I'm going to Paris with Ronald in just over a week. Then I go to the Eiffel Tower for the first time. I've been in front of it a few times, but then the people I was with thought it was too busy. So then I quickly say, okay, I'll come again sometime. So after years of joking about it, the time has almost come. I'm really looking forward to it. 

Anyway, now about the card. This card is for Roos and Roos is Guus's twin sister. The previous blog shows Guus's card. Roos loves make-up so I immediately thought of Paris. And then the road is very short to include Karen's Eiffel Tower. Roos is a fan of the color blue. The dress is from Marianne Design.
