Vlinders

Vandaag een kaartje voor een creatief meisje. Ik vind de bloemen die ik van Marianne Design heb, toch 1 van mijn favorieten. De vlindertjes zijn aan het schilderen en knoeien een beetje. Het platform is van Lawn Fawn. Dit vind ik een snelle, makkelijke maar ozo geweldige kaart om te versturen. Helaas heeft deze kaart geen lang bestaan gehad. Gelukkig hadden we nog een foto. Het verhaal over het niet lang overleven van de kaart zal ik bij de kaart van haar zus neer zetten.

Butterflies

Today a card for a creative girl. I think the flowers I have from Marianne Design are one of my favorites. The butterflies are painting and very messing. The platform is from Lawn Fawn. I think this is a quick, easy but oh so great card to send. Unfortunately, this card did not last long. Luckily we still had a photo. I will post the story about the card not surviving long with her sister's card.

Bakkie koffie

Vandaag een verjaardagskaart voor mijn zwager. Hij houd van koffie. Ik heb de Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269) gepakt en heb de mok gebruikt. Omdat ik van de diertjes hou, heb ik de leeuwen laten figureren in deze kaart. Ik vind de koffiebonen altijd een leuke versiering, dus ook die heb ik gebruikt (Tea and Coffee Borders 1270). Op de voorkant heb ik de Happy Birthday (1030) en de Happy Birthday Shadow (1179) gebruikt. Zoals je kunt zien heb ik de Happy Birthday uit een stukje van hetzelfde DSP gesneden. Nu loopt hij keurig door. De mok die de leeuw op de voorkant vasthoud komt uit de Tea and Coffee Borders (1270).

Cup of coffee

Today a birthday card for my brother-in-law. He likes coffee. I grabbed the Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269) and used the mug. Because I love the animals, I made the lions figure in this card. I always think coffee beans are a nice decoration, so I also used those (Tea and Coffee Borders 1270). On the front I used the Happy Birthday (1030) and the Happy Birthday Shadow (1179). As you can see I cut the Happy Birthday from a piece of the same DSP. The mug holding the lion on the front is from the Tea and Coffee Borders (1270).

Bijna 1 jaar geleden

Oke, hier schaam ik me echt wel een beetje voor. Deze kaart heb ik ongeveer 1 jaar geleden al gemaakt. Iedere keer als ik hem wil bloggen komt er blijkbaar iets anders tussen. Vandaag ze ik door en komt hij op mijn blog. Om iets over de kaart te vertellen moet ik wel even graven in mijn geheugen. Hoe diep ik ook graaf, ik heb geen idee meer met welke die ik ben begonnen. Ik kan je wel vertellen dat in de Fun Flowers (1234) heb gebruikt om de boel een beetje te versieren. Omdat dit een kaart was voor een verbintenis was de Happily Ever After (1032) een mooie tekst. Het hartje waar ik wat kon opschrijven is van de Hearts - Crosshatch (1191). De vogeltjes en muzieknootjes zijn van Marianne Design.

Almost 1 year ago

Okay, I'm actually a little ashamed of this. I made this card about 1 year ago. Apparently every time I want to blog it something else comes up. Today I go through it and it will be on my blog. To tell you something about the card, I have to dig into my memory. No matter how deep I dig, I have no idea which die I started with anymore. I can tell you that I used Fun Flowers (1234) to decorate things a bit. Since this was a card for a commitment, the Happily Ever After was (1032) a good sentiment. The heart where I could write something down is from the Hearts - Crosshatch (1191). The birds and musical notes are from Marianne Design.

Omdat ze van olifanten houd

De kaart voor vandaag heb ik gemaakt voor een kleuterjuf van mijn zoon. Dat is ongeveer 14 jaar geleden. Ik dacht dat ze van kippen hield, maar kort geleden heb ik ontdekt dat ze van olifanten houd. Laat ik toch ook van olifanten houden. Ik ben vooral helemaal verlief op de dies van Marianne design van het olifantje.

Voor deze kaart heb ik de Lorna Label Pop-up (1299) gebruikt. Ik wilde een keertje een dubbele Lorna Label maken en het is goed gelukt. Op het liggende platform heb ik de Happy Birthday. De rest is versierd met bloemen van Marianne design.

Because she loves elephants

I made today's card for my son's kindergarten teacher. That was about 14 years ago. I thought she liked chickens, but recently I discovered she likes elephants. I also love elephants. I am especially in love with the Marianne design dies of the elephant.

For this card I used the Lorna Label Pop-up (1299). I wanted to make a double Lorna Label and it turned out well. On the platform I have the Happy Birthday. The rest is decorated with flowers from Marianne design.

Biertje?

Een leuke kaart voor iemand die van een biertje houd. Deze kaart heb ik in opdracht gemaakt voor mijn buurman. Hij werd 40 jaar en hij houd van een biertje.
Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met mijn scan&cut. De bierflesjes heb ik dubbel gemaakt zodat de flesjes van alle kanten mooi zijn. Er is wel een duidelijke voor en achterkant.

Beer?

A nice card for someone who likes a beer. I commissioned this card for my neighbor. He was 40 years old and he liked a beer.
I made this card with my scan & cut. I made the beer bottles twice so that the bottles are beautiful from all sides. There is a clear front and back.

 

Kaarsjes en ballonnen

Vandaag op mijn blog een verjaardagskaart.Ik ben begonnen met de Fancy Label Accordion (1043). In het midden de Birthday Candle Add-ons (1258). Om de kaart een beetje aan te kleden heb ik de Balloon Collage Add-ons (1195) gebruikt. Aan de randen de 3d ballonnen. Aan de linkerkant heb ik de leeuw met een kaarsje neergezet en aan de rechter de Happy Birthday en de Shadow.

Candles and balloons

Today on my blog a birthday card. I started with the Fancy Label Accordion (1043). In the middle the Birthday Candle Add-ons (1258). To dress up the card a bit I used the Balloon Collage Add-ons (1195). The 3D balloons on the edges. On the left I placed the lion with a candle and on the right the Happy Birthday and the Shadow.

Nog een moeder

Vandaag weer een kaartje. En wel de moederdagkaart voor mijn schoonmoeder. Ik had voor deze kaart een opdracht aan mijn man gegeven om wat foto's van hemzelf en zijn moeder uit te zoeken. En zo is ook deze kaart erg leuk geworden. De Photo Collage Pop-up (1098) heeft de afgelopen week goed zijn werk gedaan. Ik heb zo genoten van het maken van die kleine polaroid fotootjes. Ik wilde eerst deze kaart met een heleboel hartjes gaan versieren, maar mijn gevoel zei heel sterk dat ik bloemetjes moest doen. Voor de bloemen heb ik de Fun Flowers (1234) er weer bij gepakt. Het hart om wat op te schrijven komt natuurlijk uit de Hearts - Crosshatch (1191) die set. Als tekst wilde Ronald "Happy Mother's Day" (1163). 

De kaart is goed ontvangen en ze vond hem weer prachtig!

Another card today. The Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law. For this card I commissioned my husband to select some photos of himself and his mother. And that's how making this card turned out to be a lot of fun. The Photo Collage Pop-up (1098) did its job well last week. I really enjoyed making those little Polaroid photos. I first wanted to decorate this card with a lot of hearts, but my feeling strongly told me to add flowers. For the flowers I used the Fun Flowers (1234). The heart to write something on comes, of course, from the Hearts - Crosshatch (1191) set. Ronald wanted "Happy Mother's Day" (1163) as the sentiment. The card was well received and she thought it was beautiful again!

Het is moederdag

Vandaag de kaart voor mijn moeder op mijn blog. Ik heb de Photo Collage Pop-up (1098) gebruikt. Ik heb allemaal schattige foto uitgekozen. Wat een schatje ben ik toch. Maar goed, ik heb de kaart versiert met wat tuingereedschap en een hoop tulpen (Garden Charms 1085). De hartjes uit de Lorna Label Pop-up (1266) vind ik zo schattig, dat ik die ook heb gebruikt. Dat die twee hartjes zo op elkaar, ja, ik ben helemaal verliefd. Ik hou van bloemen en hartjes. Om iets op te schrijven heb ik een hart genomen van de Hearts - Crosshatch (1191). Als tekst heb ik "love you" en Huggs and kisses" uit de Word Set 9 - Love (1083) gebruikt. De "I" en "MAMS" is van een die set van Stampin'Up! net als het papier.

It's Mothersday

Today the card for my mother on my blog. I used the Photo Collage Pop-up (1098). I have chosen all cute pictures. What a cute baby was I. Anyway, I decorated the card with some garden tools and a lot of tulips (Garden Charms 1085). I think the hearts from the Lorna Label Pop-up (1266) are so cute that I used them too. That those two hearts fit together, yes, I am completely in love. I love flowers and hearts. To write something down I took a heart from the Hearts - Crosshatch (1191). As sentiment I used "love you" and Huggs and kisses" from the Word Set 9 - Love (1083). The "I" and "MAMS" are from a Stampin' Up! set, just like the paper.

Deze kaart ben ik begonnen met de Paper Frames Pop-up (1122). Ik was wel wat enthousiast met de bloemen. Dit gaf uiteindelijk een effect die ik niet had verwacht. Je ziet namelijk het mechanisme niet meer, dus het lijkt wel te zweven. Voor de tekst heb ik een rechthoek gebruikt van de die set Rectangles - Crosshatch (1054) en op de voorkant vind je de Happy Birthday (1030). De bloemetjes en de bijtjes zijn van Marianne Design. Hoewel, de blauwe regen komt uit de Fence Add-ons (1240).

Flowers and bees

I started this card with the Paper Frames Pop-up (1122). I was a bit excited with the flowers. This ultimately gave an effect that I did not expect. You no longer see the mechanism, so it seems to float. For the text I used a rectangle from the die set Rectangles - Crosshatch (1054) and on the front you will find the Happy Birthday (1030). The flowers and bees are from Marianne Design. Although, the wisteria is from the Fence Add-ons (1240).

Designer Challenge 81 - Theme: "From the vault!"

De opdracht was om een oude reeds gemaakte kaart als inspiratie te gebruiken voor een nieuwe kaart. Ik wilde een kaart maken voor een koppel die nu zwanger is. Ik heb voor mijn buren een jaar of wat terug ook zo een kaart gemaakt. Mooie gelegenheid voor deze uitdaging. Als basis heb ik de Heart (1088) Pivot Panels (1088) gebruikt. Ik heb wat kleurrijk papier gepakt en heb een heleboel hartje uitgedraaid.

Op de voorkant staat "zwanger" en aan de binnenkant "boy or girl. Die heb ik gemaakt met de Alphabet (1053) dies.
Het hartje om wat tekst op te schrijven komt uit de Hearts - Crosshatch (1191).

The assignment was to use an old already made card as inspiration for a new card. I wanted to make a card for a couple who are currently pregnant. I made a card like this for my neighbors a year or so ago. Great opportunity for this challenge. I used the Heart Pivot Panels (1088) as a base. I took some colorful paper and made a lot of hearts.

The front says "pregnant" and the inside says "boy or girl. I made that with the Alphabet (1053) dies.

Even wat aan het inhalen

Vandaag een kaar die ik voor mijn tante haar verjaardag heb gemaakt. Dat was nog vorig jaar. Maar vanwege wat erge drukke maanden kom ik er nu pas aan toe om hem op mijn blog te zetten. Mijn tante houd van tuinieren, dus ik heb de kaboutertjes gepakt. Als basis Tag Book Pop-up (1023). De bloemen komen uit de Fun Flowers (1234) en de kabouters uit de Tiny Gnomes (1165). De vlinders komen ook aan de Fun Flowers (1234). Omdat het zolang geleden was, moest ik wel even zoeken van welke set hij ook alweer was. Ik heb dus veel lol gehad toen ik ontdekte dat hij gewoon uit de Fun Flowers kwam. Op de voorkant de Happy Birthday (1030). Het papier is van Doodlebug Design. Zij hebben altijd vrolijke knal kleuren.

Just catching up on something

Today a card that I made for my aunt's birthday. That was just last year. But because of some very busy months I only now got around to putting it on my blog. My aunt loves gardening, so I took the gnomes. As a base Tag Book Pop-up (1023). The flowers come from the Fun Flowers (1234) and the gnomes from the Tiny Gnomes (1165). The butterflies also come to the Fun Flowers (1234). Because it was so long ago, I had to look for which set it was from again. So I had a lot of fun when I discovered that it just came from Fun Flowers. Happy Birthday (1030) on the front. The paper is from Doodlebug Design. They always have cheerful bright colors.

Rugby kaart

Vandaag op mijn blog een kaart voor een jongeman die rugby speelt. Nou ja ergens in oktober zei hij dat tegen mij. Toen was hij net begonnen met rugby spelen. Geen idee of hij het nog speelt. Toch ben ik er voor gegaan. Er zijn maar weinig mensen in mijn omgeving die rugby spelen. Nu had ik laatst een honkbal kaart gemaakt en, zoals de mensen die mij kennen al weten, had ik een tweede kaart gemaakt, maar nog niet versierd. Dat kwam dus goed uit. De basis is de Circle Charm Pop Up (1046). De rugby bal komt uit de Sports Charms (1219). Het gras heb ik gemaakt met een dies uit Nature Edges Die Set (1006), omdat deze recht is en niet een glooiende heuvel. Ik heb namelijk nog nooit een heuvel op een rugby veld gezien. Maar goed, de doelpalen heb ik met drie stukjes papier gemaakt. In het doel hangt een aap en daaronder staat een leeuw. Deze komen allebei uit de Monkey and Lion (1187) die set. De giraf komt uit de Safari Animals (1127). Op de voorkant zie je de Happy Birthday (1030) en de Happy Birthday Shadow (1179).

Rugby card

Today on my blog a card for a young man who plays rugby. Well, sometime in October he said that to me. Then he had just started playing rugby. No idea if he still plays it. Still, I went for it. There are very few people around me who play rugby. Now I recently made a baseball card and, as those who know me already know, I made a second card, but not decorated it yet. So that worked out well. The base is the Circle Charm Pop Up (1046). The rugby ball comes from the Sports Charms (1219). I made the grass with a die from Nature Edges Die Set (1006), because it is straight and not a rolling hill. I have never seen a hill on a rugby field. Anyway, I made the goal posts with three pieces of paper. A monkey hangs in the goal and a lion stands underneath it. These are both from the Monkey and Lion (1187) set. The giraffe is from the Safari Animals (1127). On the front you see the Happy Birthday (1030) and the Happy Birthday Shadow (1179).
