Karen Burniston - KB Riley LLC Feburary 2024 Release Blog Hop

Hallo knutselvrienden,

Welkom bij de blog hop van de Karen Burniston producten. Voor deze kaart heb ik de Charm Accordion Die Set (1007) gebruikt. De eitjes aan de onderkant heb ik gemaakt met de nieuwe border dies (Easter Borders (1264). Daar komen ook de worteltjes vandaan. Alleen heb ik die los geknipt. Het mandje heb ik als charm opgehangen. Die komen uit de Spring animals (1074). Net als de konijntjes. De tekst met Happy Easter komt uit de Easter charms (1078).

Welcome to the Karen Burniston products blog hop. For this card I used the Charm Accordion Die Set (1007). I made the eggs at the bottom with the new border dies (Easter Borders (1264). That is also where the carrots come from. I just cut them loose. I hung the basket as a charm. They come from the Spring animals (1074). Just like the bunnies. The text with Happy Easter comes from the Easter charms (1078).

Grote bedeltjes

Om de laatste dag voor de blog hop jullie toch nog een kaart te geven, heb ik de kaart voor mijn schoonmoeder gepakt om iets over te schrijven. Ik wilde wat grotere bedeltjes gebruiken met een kaart. Ik heb de Fancy Label Accordion (1043) gepakt en heb de binnenkant eruit gestanst. Zo had ik meer plek voor grotere bedeltjes. De bloemen komen uit de Fun Flower (1234) en de Twist Flower Pop-up (1239). 
Ik heb een nieuwe soldeerbout. Een klein schattig ding, waarmee ik kleine ringetjes makkelijk kan dicht maken. De drie grote bedeltjes heb ik aan ringetjes gehangen en dicht gesoldeerd. Wat geweldig ging dat. Snel en makkelijk. Dus ik denk dat er meer kaarten gaan komen met bedeltjes.

Big charms

To give you a card on the last day before the blog hop, I took the card for my mother-in-law to write something about. I wanted to use some larger charms with a card. I took the Fancy Label Accordion (1043) and punched out the inside. This way I had more room for larger charms. The flowers come from the Fun Flower (1234) and the Twist Flower Pop-up (1239). 
I have a new soldering iron. A cute little thing, with which I can easily close small rings. I hung the three large charms on rings and soldered them shut. How wonderful that went. Fast and easy. So I think there will be more cards with charms.

Laatste sneak peek kaart

Vandaag een combinatiekaart. Aan de rechterkant heb ik de Cupcake Pop-Up Die Set (1008) op een nieuwe manier gebruikt. Ik heb hem als een glue-in gemaakt. Naast de cupcake heb ik de nieuwe die gebruikt van de Tea and Coffee pop-up (1269). Zo heb ik de schattige nijlpaard uit de cupcake laten komen. De toefjes op de hoofdjes van de nijlpaardjes komen uit de nieuwe Baking Borders (1267).

Dit is de laatste sneak peek kaart. Op maandag rond 15:00 uur mijn tijd is er weer een bloghop.

Last sneak peek card

Today a combination card. On the right, I used the Cupcake Pop-Up Die Set (1008) in a new way. I made it as a glue-in. In addition to the cupcake, I used the new one from the Tea and Coffee pop-up (1269). This is how I made the cute hippo come out of the cupcake. The tufts on the heads of the hippos come from the new Baking Borders (1267).

Bijna dezelfde kaarten

Het begon gewoon met wat oefenen. De nieuwe Lorna Label (1266) wilde ik even uitproberen. Tja en wat doe je dan als het allemaal gewoon lukt. Nou dan maak je er drie verschillende van door ze verschillend te versieren. Naast de Lorna Label heb ik bij alle de Happy Birthday 1030, de shadow (1179) en de Rectangles - crosshatch (1054) gebruikt.

Voor de eerste kaart is versierd met de Fun Flowers (1234) en de giraf uit de Safari Animals (1127). De twee de andere bloemen en vlinders uit de Fun Flowers. De derde heeft een Nijlpaard uit de Safari Animals (1127) en de verjaardag kaarsjes komen uit de Birthday Candle add-ons (1258).

Almost the same cards

It just started with some practice. I wanted to try out the new Lorna Label (1266). Well, what do you do if it all just works out? Well then you make three different ones by decorating them differently. In addition to the Lorna Label, I used the Happy Birthday 1030, the shadow (1179) and the Rectangles - crosshatch (1054) for all of them.

The first card was decorated with the Fun Flowers (1234) and the giraffe from the Safari Animals (1127). Number 2 I used the other flowers and butterflies from the Fun Flowers. The third has a Hippopotamus from the Safari Animals (1127) and the birthday candles are from the Birthday Candle add-ons (1258).

Nu al zin in de zomer

Voor deze kaart heb ik de Adirondack Chair Pop-up (1071) gebruikt. Een heerlijke strand stoel om in te chillen. Met de Nature Edges (1006) heb ik de duinen van zand gemaakt en de branding. De flamigo band komt uit de nieuwe release (Tiny Accassories 4, 1259). De twee surfplanken en de parasol zijn van de nieuwe Beach Elements (1260). Voor de tekstbubbel de Ovals - Crosshatch (1055) en op de voorkant de Happy Birthday (1179) en shadow (1179).

Ik heb nu al zin in de zomer!!

Already looking forward to summer

For this card I used the Adirondack Chair Pop-up (1071). A lovely beach chair to chill in. With the Nature Edges (1006) I made the dunes of sand and the surf. The flamigo band is from the new release (Tiny Accassories 4, 1259). The two surfboards and the parasol are from the new Beach Elements (1260). For the text bubble the Ovals - Crosshatch (1055) and on the front the Happy Birthday (1179) and shadow (1179).

I'm already looking forward to summer!!

Koffie en thee

Deze vond ik zo leuk. Heel veel plezier gehad met het maken van deze twee kaarten. Een heerlijk kopje thee en een beker met koffie of chocolademelk. De eerste kaart heb ik gemaakt met de koffie beker. Maar ik lust geen koffie dus voor mij is het een beker chocolademelk. Dit zijn de dies die ik heb gebruikt:

De tweede kaart is met een theekopje. Een heerlijk bakkie leut, zoals we dat hier noemen. Ik kan altijd wel genieten van zo een kopje thee. Voor deze kaart heb ik de volgende dies gebruikt:

• 1267 Baking Borders (nieuw!)
• 1055 Ovals - Crosshatch
• 1191 Hearts Crosshatch

Coffee and tea

I liked this one so much. Had a lot of fun making these two cards. A delicious cup of tea and a cup of coffee or chocolate milk. I made the first card with the coffee cup. But I don't like coffee so for me it's a cup of chocolate milk. These are the dies I used:

The second card is with a teacup. A delicious cup of fun, as we call it here. I always enjoy a cup of tea like this. For this card I used the following dies:

Start of the Sneakpeek week

Vandaag begint de Sneakpeek week. Ik heb weer mijn best gedaan om een paar leuke kaarten voor jullie te maken. De eerste kaart die ik met jullie wilde delen is een hele aparte. Ik ben begonnen met de Christmas tree pop-up (1020). Ik dacht bij mezelf, waarom niet een paasboom. Onder de boom ligt een kleed. Die heb ik gemaakt met de Labels - crosshatch (1184). Ook waar ik een boodschap kan schrijven komt van de Label - crosshatch. Het ei randje komt uit de nieuwe Easter Borders (1264). Voor de rest heb ik wat kuikentjes uit de Spring Animals (1074) gebruikt.

Start of the Sneakpeek week

Today the Sneak peek week starts. I have done my best again to make some nice cards for you. The first card I wanted to share with you is a very special one. I started with the Christmas tree pop-up (1020). I thought to myself, why not an Easter tree. There is a rug under the tree. I made that with the Labels - crosshatch (1184). Also where I can write a message comes from the Label - crosshatch. The egg edge comes from the new Easter Borders (1264). For the rest I used some chicks from the Spring Animals (1074).
