Schaapjes

Vandaag is Elyse jarig. Ik wilde al een poosje mijn schaapjes proberen. Elyse  houd van schaapjes dus ik kon mijn nieuwe dies gebruiken. Ik wilde een echt wouw effect hebben en dacht aan de upsy daisy pop-up. Tussen de schaapjes een slinger en het feestje kan beginnen. De kleuren komen van Stampin'Up! Ik heb de 'sweet as a peach' suite gebruikt. Mooie zachte kleurtjes.

Sheep

Today is Elyse's birthday. I've been wanting to try my sheep for a while. Elyse loves sheep so I could use my new dies. I wanted to have a real wow effect and thought of the upsy daisy pop-up. A garland between the sheep and the party can begin. The colors are from Stampin' Up! I used the sweet as a peach suite. Beautiful soft colors.

Dino's voor Daan

Daan had twee onderwerpen voor kaarten opgegeven. Pokémon en Dinosaurus. Vandaag de kaart met de dino's. Ik heb de Circles - Crosshatch gebruikt. De dino komt te voorschijn en dan eindigt hij bij de spreekballon. Voor de rest veel groen. Net een jungle. 

Dinos for Daan 

Daan had specified two subjects for cards. Pokemon and Dinosaur. Today the card with the dinos. I used the Circles - Crosshatch. The dino appears and then ends up at the speech bubble. For the rest a lot of green. Just a jungle.

Pokémon

Vandaag weer een Pokémon kaart. Daan is vorige week 7 jaar geworden en is een fan van dino's en Pokémon. Zijn lievelings karakter is Chespin. Als cadeau heb ik de knuffel gekocht en leek het me wel leuk om een bijpassende kaart te maken. Ik heb geprobeerd om een pokémon uit een pokéball te laten springen. Dus de sterren geven dat weer. De karakter heb ik uitgeprint en uitgesneden. 

Pokémon

Another Pokemon card today. Daan turned 7 last week and is a fan of dinosaurs and Pokémon. His favorite character is Chespin. I bought a stuffed animal as a gift and I thought it would be fun to make a matching card. I tried to make a pokemon jump out of a pokeball. So the stars reflect that. I printed and cut out the character.

Skilessen

In februari gaat Keyon met zijn school een dagje skiën. Om hem toch een beetje voor te bereiden hebben we hem skilessen cadeau gegeven. Zo is hij niet helemaal blanco en kan hij genieten van een dagje skiën i.p.v. een dagje omhoog lopen en leren remmen. Gisteren was zijn introductie les. Hij deed het erg goed. Hij krijgt hierna nog 8 lessen. Dan moet hij er aardig op kunnen staan.

Ski lessons

In February, Keyon goes skiing with his school. To prepare him a bit, we gave him ski lessons as a gift. This way he is not completely blank and he can enjoy a day of skiing instead of a day of walking uphill and learning to brake. Yesterday was his introductory lesson. He did very well. He then gets 8 more lessons. Then he should be able to stand on it.

Winterfell

De tweede kaart voor mijn kind. Met als thema Games of thrones. Deze zomervakantie heb ik samen met mijn kind naar deze serie gekeken. Na diep nadenken kwam ik op het idee om de kasteel pop-up om te bouwen naar een Winterfell pop-up. Met een mooie boom in het midden en drie draken. Ook heb ik er een paar wolven bij gezet en natuurlijk John Snow en Daenerys Targaryen. Door het kasteel op een floating floor te zetten, kom ik the wall achter het kasteel plakken.

Winterfell

The second card for my child. Theme is Games of Thrones. This summer I watched this series with my child. After a lot of thought I came up with the idea to convert the castle pop-up into a Winterfell pop-up. With a beautiful tree in the middle and three dragons. I also added a few wolves and of course John Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. By putting the castle on a floating floor, I will stick the wall behind the castle.

Keyon 15 jaar

Er is er een jarig, hoera, hoera! Vandaag is mijn zoon Keyon jarig. Hij is 15 jaar geworden . Wat worden kleine jongetjes toch groot. Vroeger hadden we een spelletje in de auto. Als er een geel autootje voorbij kwam kreeg hij een punt, rode auto had Ronald een punt en ik bij een paarse auto met witte stippen. Als we die tegen zouden komen dan had ik gewonnen. Nou die zijn we nog steeds niet tegen gekomen, dus dacht ik, heel slim, ik maak er zelf wel eentje. Dus deze kaart heeft een paarse auto met witte stippen en een hoop poezen.

Keyon, van harte gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag en maak er een leuke dag van.

Keyon 15 years 

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Keyon! Today is my son Keyon's birthday. He is 15 years old . How big little boys get. We used to have a game in the car. If a yellow car passed he got a point, red car had Ronald a point and I got a purple car with white dots. If we would have see the purple one then I would have won. Well, we still haven't come across that one, so I thought, very clever, I'll make one myself. So this card has a purple car with white dots and a lot of cats.

Mijn zesde klas

Ik had nog wat foto's geleend van mijn meester uit klas 6 (nu groep 8). Omdat ik wat laat was heb ik een mooie kaart voor hem gemaakt. Ik heb wat foto's bij elkaar gezocht van mijn klas 6 tijd en heb daar deze kaart mee gemaakt. 

My sixth grade 

I had borrowed some pictures from my teacher from class 6 (now group 8). Because I was a bit late I made a nice card for him. I collected some pictures from my class 6 time and made this card with them.

Mooie datum

Het is een meisje!! En ze is geboren op 1-9-2021. Denk de streepjes weg en je krijgt 19 20 21. Ze heet Elle en deze kaart krijgt ze van haar tante. Als ik de geboortekaart krijg, dan maak ik een kaart die daar een beetje bij past. De kaart heeft veel weg van de kaart die ik voor Daan heb gemaakt. Alleen een andere kleur.

Nice date

It is a girl!! And she was born on 1-9-2021 (dd-mm-yyyy). Eliminate the dashes and you get 19 20 21. Her name is Elle and she gets this card from her aunt. When I get the birth announcement card, I make a card that matches it a bit. The card is very similar to the card I made for Daan. Just a different color.

Omdat ik het leuk vind

Blast from the past. Kom ik bij de fitness de vader tegen van een oud klasgenootje van Keyon. Vroeger speelde ze heel veel met elkaar. Ze was eind augustus jarig. Ik wilde nog een kaart uitproberen die Karen Burniston heeft gemaakt als challenge. Ik vond hem zo leuk dat ik het ook wilde maken. Dus zo is mijn kaart ontstaan. Gewoon omdat ik het leuk vond dus. 

 Because I like it 

Blast from the past. At the gym I run into the father of an old classmate of Keyon's. They used to play together a lot. Her birthday was at the end of August. I wanted to try out another card that Karen Burniston made as a challenge. I liked it so much I wanted to make it too. So that's how my card came about. Just because I liked it.

Nieuwe buren

Sinds woensdag hebben we nieuwe buren. En om ze te verwelkomen heb ik een kaartje gemaakt. Ik moest de paddenstoel add-on nog een keertje maken en dit was een mooie gelegenheid. Ik heb hem nog niet helemaal onder de knie, maar toch is hij aardig gelukt.

New neighbors

Since Wednesday we have new neighbors. And to welcome them I made a card. I had to make the mushroom add-on again and this was a great opportunity. I haven't quite mastered it yet, but it turned out pretty well.

Jarige Ajax fan

Vandaag is Hans jarig. Hij krijgt iedere maand een Ajax kaart van mij. Dus deze maand is de kaart in een verjaardagstemming. Ik heb de Fancy Label Accordion gebruikt. Met de slinger werd deze kaart een echt Ajax verjaardagskaart. Nu ga ik verzinnen wat ik de volgende maand voor mechanisme ga gebruiken. 

Ook heb ik een kaart gemaakt met Ajax erop. Ik had een opdracht gekregen om een Ajax verjaardagskaart te maken dus ik heb het gecombineerd met de kaart voor Hans.

Birthday Ajax fan 

Today is Hans's birthday. He gets an Ajax card from me every month. So this month the card is in a birthday theme. I used the Fancy Label Accordion. With the garland this card became a real Ajax birthday card. Now I'm going to figure out what to use for mechanism next month. 

I also made a card with Ajax on it. I had been given an assignment to make an Ajax birthday card so I combined it with the card for Hans.

Ajax kaart augustus

Nog maar een paar te gaan. Dit is de Ajax kaart voor de maand augustus. Nog vier keer en dan heb ik mijn uitdaging gehaald. Dit keer heb ik de Katherine Label Pop-up Die Set gebruikt.

Only a few more to go. This is the Ajax card for the month of August. Four more times and then I'll have passed my challenge. This time I used the Katherine Label Pop-up Die Set.

Hortensia

Dit is eigenlijk de kaart waar ik mee begonnen was. Ik vind de Hortensia erg gaaf. Al die kleine bloemetjes. Op deze kaart wilde ik ook de vlinders gebruiken.

Hydrangea

This is actually the card I started with. I think the Hydrangea is very cool. All those little flowers. I also wanted to use the butterflies on this card.

Klaproos

Dan is nu de klaprood aan de beurt. Ik vind deze bloemen erg leuk om te maken. En die andere bloemen ook. De combinatie zwart/wit en dan een kleur vind ik een leuk effect hebben. Deze is naar de oom van Ronald gegaan.

Poppy

Then it's the turn of the poppy. I really enjoy making these flowers. And those other flowers too. I think the combination of black and white and then a color has a nice effect. This one went to Ronald's uncle.
