Laatste blog van het jaar

Vandaag mijn laatste blog van het jaar. Ik ben al de hele week te druk om een blog te schijven, dus ik heb besloten dat ik er nog eentje doe dit jaar. Even melden dat jullie me moeten missen. Op eerste kerstdag vliegen Keyon en ik naar Amerika en gaan we Disney World onveilig maken. Maar goed, vandaag heb ik mijn huis helemaal schoon gemaakt zodat ik mijn man in een net huis achter laat. Nu ben ik bezig met mijn journaal voor de vakantie. Ik heb nog een hoop te doen.

Nu de kaart. Ik heb voor een vriendje van Keyon een verjaardagskaart gemaakt. Ze hebben samen bij de Albert Hein gewerkt. Ik heb bij de Albert Hein wat pakpapier gehaald en heb daar deze kaart van gemaakt. Toen had ik net de bambox binnen, dus de hamsters staan heerlijk midden in de kaart. Had ik al gezegd dat dit mijn favoriet is. Naast de kaart heb ik ook het doosje gemaakt om daar het cadeautje (geld) in te doen.

Nou mensen, hele fijne kerstdagen en een geweldig 2023. 

Last blog of the year 

Today is my last blog of the year. I've been too busy to write a blog all week, so I've decided I'll do just one this year. On Christmas Day, Keyon and I fly to America and we're going to Disney World. Anyway, today I cleaned my house completely so that I leave my husband in a tidy house. Now I'm working on my journal for the holidays. I still have a lot to do. 

Now the card. I made a birthday card for a friend of Keyon's. They worked together at the Albert Hein. I got some wrapping paper at the Albert Hein and made this card. Then I just received the bambox, so the hamsters are wonderfully in the middle of the card. Did I mention this is my favorite. In addition to the card, I also made the box to put the gift (money) in. 

Well folks, have a very merry Christmas and a great 2023.

Gewoon een beetje druk

Met mijn aankomende vakantie ben ik erg druk. Ik vlieg eerste kerstdag naar Disney World. Dus voor deze kaart had ik niet veel tijd om al die boeken te maken met de nieuwe bookworm charmset. Nu vind ik deze boeken ook leuk, Maar goed, dit was even een snelle optie voor het tijd te kort wat ik heb. Ik kwam er namelijk wat laat achter dat de ontvanger van de kaart jarig was. Deze meneer houd heel erg van lezen en boeken. Bij de boeken heb ik uiltjes neer gezet. Hij weet namelijk veel.

Just a bit busy

I am very busy with my upcoming vacation. I'm flying to Disney World on Christmas Day. So for this card I didn't have much time to make all those books with the new bookworm charm set. Now I like these books too, Anyway, this was just a quick option for the time I'm short on. I found out a bit late that it was the recipient of the card's birthday. This gentleman loves reading and books very much. I put owls next to the books. Because he knows a lot.

Olli de olifant

Vandaag een kaart voor een Feyenoord fan. Olli is de mascotte. Een grote, ronde olifant. Ik vond het wel een leuk idee om Olli zo te maken zodat hij buiten de kaart kon staan. Hij staat dus o een rond stukje gras. De envelop is achter de ronde tekst cirkel te schuiven. Ik heb geen idee welke bal ik heb gebruikt, Maar de nieuwe Double-ups zijn geweldig. En bij een voetbal kaart horen natuurlijk voetballen. Uit de nieuwe zet is dat wel mijn favoriet.

Oliver the elephant

Today a card for a Feyenoord fan. Olli is the mascot. A large, round elephant. I liked the idea of ​​making Olli so that he could stand outside the card. So he stands on a round piece of grass. The envelope is behind the circular text circle. I have no idea what ball I used, but the new Double-ups are great. And of course soccer are part of a soccer card. This is my favorite from the new charm die set.

Ik heb me lekker uitgeleefd met de Bookworm (1217) en Wide Woven Basket Box Card (1223). Ik had met de release binnen en toen kreeg ik te horen dat mijn neefje was geslaagd. Dus ik ben meteen aan de slag gegaan.

I had a great time with the Bookworm (1217) and Wide Woven Basket Box Card (1223). I had received the release and then I was told that my nephew had passed his exam. So I got to work right away.

Woven Basket

Ik vind de nieuwe woven basket geweldig. Keyon had nog een kaart nodig voor een vriendin die hij was vergeten. Dus om het goed te ben ik helemaal los gegaan met poezen. Het mandje heb ik van goud gemaakt net als de shadow happy birthday.

I love the new woven basket. Keyon needed another card for a friend he had forgotten. So to make it right I went all out with cats. I made the basket of gold just like the shadow happy birthday.

Voetbal!!

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor iemand die van voetbal houd. Dus weer een kaart met de nieuwe release. Samen met de 50 kerstkaarten die ik aan het maken was en al die kaarten met dingen van de nieuwe release die ik niet mocht delen, nu eindelijk weer als van ouds, regelmatig een kaart op mijn blog. De kerstkaarten zijn gisteren op de post gegaan, dus ik kan me nu weer concentreren op verjaardagen en mijn journaal die ik ga maken van mijn vakantie naar Disney Wold. Op 25 december vliegen Keyon en ik naar Amerika en gaan dan genieten van 10 dagen Disney. Maar goed, de kaart, deze is gemaakt voor een jongen die van voetbal en krokodillen houd. Ik ben zo blij met de voetbal in de nieuwe release. Ik heb hem al zoveel gebruikt. Hij is alleen te groot om als charm te gebruiken voor deze kaart, dus ik heb het meer als versiering gebruikt.

Soccer!!

I made this card for someone who loves soccer. So another card with the new release. Together with the 50 Christmas cards I was making and all those cards with things from the new release that I wasn't allowed to share, now finally back to normal, a regular card on my blog. The Christmas cards went in the mail yesterday, so I can now focus again on birthdays and my journal I will be making of my vacation to Disney Wold. On December 25, Keyon and I will fly to America and then enjoy 10 days of Disney. Anyway, the card, this one was made for a boy who likes soccer and crocodiles. I am so happy with the soccer in the new release. I've used it so much already. It's just too big to use as a charm for this card, so I used it more as an embellishment.

Leeuwen en auto's

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt toen ik net de nieuwe release binnen had gekregen. Ik opende de deur, daar stond de man van Fedex. Na het aannemen en bedanken heb ik hem opengetrokken en ben gaan knutselen. Ik had een leuke kaart nodig had voor een jongetje die jarig was. Noud houd van leeuwen en auto's. Dus mijn kaart heeft leeuwen in een auto. Ik ben gaan spelen met de nieuwe BAMbox. Dit is mijn nieuwe favoriet. Je kan hem namelijk overal op je kaart neerzetten. Deze kaart heeft er drie. Scroll even naar beneden en daar kun je een foto vinden waar ze zich bevinden.

Lions and cars

I made this card when I just received the new release. I opened the door, there was the man from Fedex. After accepting and thanking, I opened it and started tinkering. I needed a nice card for a boy's birthday. Noud likes lions and cars. So my card has lions in a car. I started playing with the new BAMbox. This is my new favourite. You can place it anywhere on your card. This card has three. Scroll down a bit and there you can find a picture where they are located.

December Designer Challenge 65

Als challenge (fireplace die through the year) moesten we allemaal een thema kiezen om de fireplace die (1210) te gebruiken. Ik heb het thema Patriotic gekozen. Zoals het mij is uitgelegd, was het zoiets als trots zijn op je land. Ik heb het vermoeden dat ze de 4th of july bedoelde. Maar ik ben een Nederlandse, dus ik wilde heel iets anders doen. Ik dacht meteen aan oranje, onze leeuw, koningsdag en tulpen. Ergens verscholen is ook nog een voetbal te zien. Leuke rood, wit en blauwe potjes met wat plantjes. Ook heb ik een appel aan de leeuw gegeven. Iets met geschiedenis en New York (Big Apple) die ooit in Nederlandse handen was en New Amsterdam heette. 

December Designer Challenge 65

As a challenge (fireplace die through the year) we all had to choose a theme to use the fireplace die (1210). I chose the theme Patriotic. As it was explained to me, it was like being proud of your country. I suspect she meant the 4th of July. But I'm Dutch, so I wanted to do something completely different. I immediately thought of orange, our lion, King's Day and tulips. There is also a soccorball hidden somewhere. Nice red, white and blue pots with some plants. I also gave an apple to the lion. Something with history and New York (Big Apple) that was once in Dutch hands and was called New Amsterdam.

Sneakpeek

Vandaag, na een lange tijd, weer een blog. Ik had wel wat kaarten, maar die had ik met de nieuwe release gemaakt, dus die moesten even wachten. Laat ik beginnen met een kaartje voor mijn buurjongetje die op 8 november is geboren. Toen ik de nieuwe dies voor het eerst zag had ik meteen een idee om deze kaart voor Kaj te maken. Deze blokken van Kaj heb ik een beetje naar voren geplakt. Als je de kaart wil dichtvouwen dan moet je de twee onderste blokken naar achter plat drukken en de bovenste naar achteren. De tweede kaart is voor een meisje. Hier heb ik nog geen bestemming voor. De blokken van deze kaart staan meer naar achteren. Dus als je deze kaart wilt dichtklappen, dan moet je de twee onderste naar voren en de bovenste naar achteren vouwen.   

Wat heb ik voor de kaart van Kaj gebruikt:

Today, after a long time, another blog. I did have some cards, but I made them with the new release, so they had to wait. Let me start with a card for my neighbor boy who was born on November 8th. When I first saw the new dies I immediately had an idea to make this card for Kaj. I glued these blocks from Kaj a little to the front. If you want to fold the card, you have to press the two bottom blocks to the back and the top to the back. The second card is for a girl. I don't have a destination for this yet. The blocks of this card are further back. So if you want to close this card, you have to fold the bottom two forwards and the top two backwards.

Hieperdepiep hoera

Vandaag is Lisa May jarig. Dit is de kaart die ik voor haar heb gemaakt. Heerlijke ijsjes! Jullie zullen even wat minder kaarten zien, omdat ik nu een begin ga maken aan de 50 kerstkaarten. Ook ben ik met de nieuwe release bezig, maar die mag ik pas in de eerste week van december aan jullie laten zien.
Voor deze kaart heb ik de Fancy Label Accordion (1043) gebruikt. De "happy birthday tot you" heb ik met Mini Alphabet and Numbers (1197) gemaakt. De ijsjes zijn van Lawn Fawn. Een leuke kaartje voor een meisje.

Today is Lisa May's birthday. This is the card I made for her. Delicious ice creams! You will see less cards for a while, because I will now start working on the 50 Christmas cards. I'm also working on the new release, but I'm not allowed to show it to you until the first week of December.
For this card I used the Fancy Label Accordion (1043). I made the "happy birthday to you" with Mini Alphabet and Numbers (1197). The ice creams are from Lawn Fawn. A cute card for a girl.

Karen Burniston's designer challenge 63 Snowman

Vandaag de challenge kaart van de maand november. Maak een kaart met een sneeuwpop. Ik heb er voor gekozen om een pop-up te kiezen die allerlei thema's aankan. The Ice Cream Sundae Pop-up (1082). Ik vond het wel leuk om de sneeuwpoppen als ijsjes te zien. Zo zit er eentje in het schaaltje, De andere houd het lepeltje vast en eentje met saus op zijn hoofd. Naast het rechthoekige schrijfstukje ligt een sneeuwman een beetje te smelten. Zijn hoedje ligt al onder het schaaltje. Een leuk kerstverhaaltje.

Karen Burniston's designer challenge 63 Snowman

Today the challenge card of the month November. Make a card with a snowman. I have chosen to choose a pop-up that can handle all kinds of themes. The Ice Cream Sundae Pop Up (1082). I liked seeing the snowmen as ice creams. One is in the dish, the other is holding the spoon and one with sauce on his head. A snowman is melting a little next to the rectangular piece of writing. His hat is already under the dish. A nice Christmas story.

Kip lekker

Nou de afgelopen dagen heb ik me wat minder gevoeld. Donderdag mijn vaccinatie gehaald en vrijdag avond met koorts naar bed gegaan. Gisteren dus heel veel geslapen. Nu voel ik me weer goed. Dat is maar goed ook, want de Kreadoe staat voor vandaag op het programma. Maar goed. Deze kaart is in het Nederlands duidelijk, maar in het Engels denk ik niet. Het zijn woordspelingen. Een opkikker krijg je hier in Nederland om je in een moeilijk tijd even een lichtpuntje te geven. En dan gebruiken wij een kikker. Deze kaart heeft een kip. Als je je goed voelt dan voel je je kiplekker. Ik hoop dat jullie het een beetje snappen. Ik voel me vandaag kip lekker en dan er weer vol tegen aan.

Well the last few days I've been feeling a little less. Got my vaccination on Thursday and went to bed with a fever on Friday evening. So I slept a lot yesterday. Now I feel good again. That's a good thing, because the Kreadoe is on the program for today. Anyway. This card is clear in Dutch, but I think not in English. It's puns. You get a boost here in the Netherlands to give you a bright spot in a difficult time. And then we use a frog. This card has a chicken. When you feel good, you feel "kip lekker". I hope you understand a little bit. I feel "kip lekker" today and can take on the world.

Het is wat.....

Ik heb al een aantal kaarten gemaakt, maar ik kan ze niet delen. Ik heb namelijk onderdelen gebruikt die pas eind november wereld bekend gemaakt mogen worden. Dus ik ben even gaan kijken of ik nog een kaart had die ik nog niet had geblogd. En die had ik. Bij deze een "sterkte" kaart. En nu besef ik pas dat ik de flower pot pop-up dinsdag ook al had geblogd. 

It's something.....

I've already made some cards, but I can't share them. I have used parts that can only be made public at the end of November. So I went to see if I had a card that I hadn't blogged yet. And I had it. Here's a "with sympathy" card. And now I realize that I had already blogged the flower pot pop-up on Tuesday.

Popcorn pop-up

Vandaag een popcorn pop up kaart. Roos houd van film kijken, dus ik moest gelijk aan popcorn denken. Ik ben begonnen met de Flower Pot Pop-Up Die Set (1010). Met een stencel ben ik strepen op de bloempot gaan sponsen. Zo kon ik zelf bepalen hoe de strepen moesten lopen. De filmstrip en popcorn heb ik als afbeelding van ETSY gekocht. Ik heb 1 filmframe grootgemaakt en daar de popcorn op bevestigd. Ik vind hem goed gelukt en Roos vond hem ook erg leuk. 

Popcorn pop-up 

Today a popcorn pop up card. Roos likes to watch movies, so I immediately thought of popcorn. I started with the Flower Pot Pop-Up Die Set (1010). With a stencel I sponged stripes on the flower pot. That way I could decide for myself how the stripes should run. I bought the film strip and popcorn as an image from ETSY. I made 1 film frame and attached the popcorn to it. I think it turned out well and Roos also liked it a lot.

Een blauwe regen

Stampin'Up! heeft een gave die uitgebracht met een blauwe regen. Ellen houd van tuinieren en dus vond ik het wel een goeie die om te gebruiken. Nu vind ik de Spinner Square Pop-up (1042) een leuke die om bloemen en planten omheen te maken. Dit keer een poes met een cupcakeje die tevoorschijn komt. Ik heb twee kaarten gemaakt. Eentje met paarse Blauwe regen en de andere met de witte. Die met de witte blauwe regen is voor mijn tante. Daar gaan we volgend weekend naar toe. 

Wistaria 

Stampin' Up! has a die released with a wistaria. Ellen likes to garden and so I thought it was a good one to use. Now I think the Spinner Square Pop-up (1042) is a nice one to make flowers and plants around. This time a cat with a cupcake that appears. I made two cards. One with purple wistaria and the other with the white. The one with the white wistaria is for my aunt. We are going there next weekend.
