Schaken

Mijn neefje was jarig en ik moest een leuke kaart verzinnen. Aangezien hij digitaal met mijn zoon schaakt, vond ik het wel leuk om een kaart te maken met schaakstukken. Ik ben even bij etsy gaan kijken naar een snij-bestand en toen kwam ik deze 3d tegen. Toen kwam het idee om het te combineren met de Tiny Trees Pop-Up (1156). De onderkant is van de tiny trees. Het schaakbord heb ik van het picknick kleed  uit de Picnic Elements (1159) gemaakt. Dan nog wat uiltjes (Feathered Animals 1075) en een vierkant (Squares - Crosshatch 1056) om iets op te schrijven.

Chess

It was my nephew's birthday and I had to come up with a nice card. Since he plays digital chess with my son, I thought it would be fun to make a card with chess pieces. I went to Etsy to look for a cutting file and then I came across this 3D. Then the idea came to combine it with the Tiny Trees Pop-Up (1156). The bottom is of the tiny trees. I got the chessboard from the picnic rug  made from the Picnic Elements (1159). Then some owls (Feathered Animals 1075) and a square (Squares - Crosshatch 1056) to write something on.

Tandenfee

Volgens mij weet iedereen wel over wie ik het dan heb. Nu vond ik het wel leuk om een kaart te maken voor mijn tandarts. Ik ben erg blij met mijn tandart. Ik ben namelijk geen fan, maar toen ik haar kreeg is mijn angst helemaal weg. Als kaart heb ik het thema tandenfee genomen. Nu zijn er niet gek veel dies van tanden, dus die heb ik met mijn snijmachine gesneden. Als basis heb ik de Fancy Label Accordion (1043). De bloemetjes zijn van de Fun Flower (1234) en het randje van de Long Nature Edges 2 (1178). De kroontjes en toverstaf komen uit de Princess and Mermaid (1036). 

Ze vond het erg leuk om een keertje een kaart te krijgen.

Tooth fairy

I think everyone knows who I'm talking about. Now I thought it would be fun to make a card for my dentist. I am very happy with my dentist. I'm not a fan, but when I got her my fear completely disappeared. I chose the tooth fairy theme as a card. Now there aren't that many teeth dies, so I cut them with my cutting machine. I use the Fancy Label Accordion (1043) as a basis. The flowers are from the Fun Flower (1234) and the edge from the Long Nature Edges 2 (1178). The crowns and magic wand come from the Princess and Mermaid (1036). 

She really enjoyed receiving a card once.

Wiskunde kaart

Vandaag op mijn blog een kaart voor mijn neefje Niels. Niels houd van wiskunde. Dus ik heb mijn zoon gevraagd om een leuke wiskundige formule met de uitkomt van zijn leeftijd. Een faculteit. 1x2x3x4  is 24 en dan -1 = 23 jaar.

Om het wat meer aan te kleden heb ik de driehoeken gebruikt. Ook een beetje wiskundig. 
Nu houd Niels ook van thee, dus ik vond het wel leuk om de nieuwe Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269) hier voor te gebruiken.

Mathematics card

Today on my blog a card for my nephew Niels. Niels likes mathematics. So I asked my son for a fun math formula based on his age. A faculty. 1x2x3x4  is 24 and then -1 = 23 years.

To dress it up a bit more I used the triangles. Also a bit mathematical. 
Now Niels also likes tea, so I thought it would be fun to use the new Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269) for this.

Gebroken voet

Vandaag een kaartje op mijn blog voor Karen Burniston her self. Ze heeft laatst de laatste traptrede gemist en brak haar voet. Ik heb dit kaartje voor haar gemaakt. Ze heeft de kaart nog op tijd gekregen, maar kaarten versturen naar Amerika duurt steeds langer.

Als basis heb ik de Stocking Pop-up (1248) gebruikt. De stocking heb ik met stukjes wit papier bedekt zodat het lijkt alsof er verband omheen zit.

Met de Fun Flowers (1234) heb ik een boeketje gemaakt die uit de stocking komt.  De tekst komt uit de Get Well Charms (1072) set en het gedeelte waar ik op kan schrijven is van de Short Rectangles - Crosshatch (1199).

Broken food

Today a card on my blog for Karen Burniston her self. She recently missed the last step of the stairs and broke her foot. I made this card for her. She received the card on time, but sending cards to America is taking longer and longer.

I used the Stocking Pop-up (1248) as a basis. I covered the stocking with pieces of white paper so that it looks like there is a bandage around it.

I made a bouquet with the Fun Flowers (1234) that comes out of the stocking.  The text is from the Get Well Charms (1072) set and the part I can write on is from the Short Rectangles - Crosshatch (1199).

Mijn schip

Ik wilde al een poosje een schip maken. Dus toen ik bedacht dat ik voor mijn grote nicht, die van aquariums houd, een verjaardagskaart zou maken, moest het er een keertje van komen. Ik heb hem zelf gemaakt, maar dan wel met het Tiny house als beginsel. Hieronder heb ik een foto geplaatst met de afmetingen. Het schip heb ik van een voorbeeld getekend. Voor de rest heb ik het schip versierd met onderwater dingen.

My ship

I've wanted to make a ship for a while. So when I thought I would make a birthday card for my niece, who loves aquariums, I had to do it. I made it myself, but with the Tiny house as a principle. Below I have posted a photo with the dimensions. I drew the ship from an example. I decorated the ship with underwater things.

Challenge kaart DC 80 - Theme: "Thirst quencher"

Vandaag is het weer tijd voor een challenge kaart. Als uitdaging moest ik een drankje gebruiken. Ik heb van Stampin'Up! papier met het thema koffie, dus ik vond het wel een leuk excuus om die weer te gebruiken. Nu ik erover ne denk. De vorige challenge kaart is van dat zelfde pak papier gemaakt. Ik hou gewoon van koffie en thee. Of chocolade melk, hihi.

Today it's time for a challenge card again. As a challenge I had to use a drink. I got Stampin' Up! paper with the coffee theme, so I thought it was a nice excuse to use it again. Now that I think about it. The previous challenge card was made from that same pack of paper. I just love coffee and tea. Or chocolate milk, hihi.

Rust zacht

Vandaag gaat over mijn schoonvader. Hij is dinsdag middag, na 5 dagen waken, overleden. Vandaag zou zijn verjaardag zijn geweest. Vandaag nemen we afscheid. Dat is wel een mooie gedachten.
Mijn schoonvader was een fantastische opa. Daar ging hij helemaal voor. Hij hield van kaarten (bridge en klaverjassen) en op iedere verjaardag kwam de bos atlas altijd tevoorschijn om het een het ander op te zoeken. 

Jan, rust zacht!

Today is about my father-in-law. He died on Tuesday afternoon. Today would have been his birthday. Today we say goodbye. That's a nice thought. My father-in-law was a wonderful grandfather. He was all about that. He loved cards (bridge and Klaverjacks) and on every birthday the atlas always came out to look up one thing after another.

Griezel verjaardag

Vandaag een kaart op mijn blog voor een dame die heel erg hou van Halloween. Ze is in juni jarig en dat is niet echt Halloween tijd. Maarja, eigenwijs als dat ik ben, waarom geen Halloween in juni. Dus in juni heb ik een Halloween verjaardagskaart gemaakt. Als basis heb ik de Little Twist Panel Pop-up (1232) erbij gepakt. Het voordeel van deze die is dat je tot ver buiten de kaart kan komen als je hem uitklapt. Het wouw effect word dan vergroot. Op de achtergrond zie je de Halloween Scene (1014). En op de voorkant de Happy Birthday (Happy Birthday).

   

Horror birthday

Today a card on my blog for a lady who really loves Halloween. Her birthday is in June and that's not really Halloween time. Well, stubborn as I am, why not have Halloween in June? So in June I made a Halloween birthday card. I used the Little Twist Panel Pop-up (1232) as a basis. The advantage of this one is that you can reach far beyond the map when you unfold it. The wow effect is then increased. In the background you can see the Halloween Scene (1014). And on the front the Happy Birthday.

Nog een kaartje van vorig jaar

Tja, er zijn er nu wel een beetje boel kaarten blijven liggen. Deze is ook van vorig jaar. Mijn neefje is geslaagd. Ik vind de geslaagd kaarten een beetje lastig. Dus na heel hard nadenken heb ik ervoor gekozen om met een heleboel sterren te werken. Als basis heb ik de Katherine Label Pop-up Die Set (1011) gepakt. En voor de rest een heleboel sterren. 

Another card from last year

Well, I am quite a few cards left behind. This one is also from last year. My nephew passed. I find the passed cards a bit difficult. So after a lot of hard thinking I chose to work with a lot of stars. As a base I used the Katherine Label Pop-up Die Set (1011). And for the rest a lot of stars. 

Honkbal kaart

Vandaag een leuke honkbal kaart op mijn blog. Mijn neefje heeft dat ooit gespeeld en dacht, ipv ieder jaar scheikunde, nu maar een sportkaart. Ik dacht, een honkbal is rond, dus laat ik een gaan kijken welke kaarten van Karen nu rond zijn. Ik heb uiteindelijk gekozen voor de Circle Charm Pop Up (1046). Ik heb namelijk een heel schattig klein soldeerboutje gekocht. Op een accu, dus ik zit ook niet zo te klooien met een snoer. En ik wil altijd echte ringetjes gebruiken en die moet je echt dicht solderen, anders ligt het bedeltje er zo weer af. Voor de aankleding van de kaart heb ik de Sports Charms (1219), Rectangles - Crosshatch (1054), Happy Birthday (1030) en de Winter Animals (1016). De pet is van Stampin'Up!

Baseball card

Today a baseball card on my blog. My nephew once played that and thought, instead of chemistry every year, now just a sports card. I thought, a baseball is round, so let me see which of Karen's cards are round. I ultimately chose the Circle Charm Pop Up (1046). I actually bought a very cute little soldering iron. On a battery, so I don't have to mess around with a cord. And I always want to use real rings and you really have to solder them shut, otherwise the charm will fall off again. To decorate the card I have the Sports Charms (1219), Rectangles - Crosshatch (1054), Happy Birthday (1030) and the Winter Animals (1016). The cap is from Stampin' Up!

Dank je wel

Ik heb een opdracht gekregen voor een bedankkaartje. Een kaart voor een jong dame met een hondje. Dus het is een kaartje geworden met een hondje. De basis is gemaakt met de Woven Basket Box Card Pop-up (1090) en de Wide Woven Basket Card (1223). Op de voorkant de tekst Thank You (1066).
 De kaart heb ik aangekleed met het hondje, wat bloemen en lieveheersbeestjes van Marianne Design.

I have been asked for a thank you card. A card for a young lady with a dog. So it became a card with a dog. The base was made with the Woven Basket Box Card Pop-up (1090) and the Wide Woven Basket Card (1223). The text Thank You (1066) on the front.
 I decorated the card with the dog, some flowers and ladybugs from Marianne Design.

Yellow submarine

Vandaag een kaart voor een puber jongen die van oude dingen van muziek houd. Langspeel platen, muziek van de jaren 80 en hij speelt gitaar. Dus ik moest gelijk aan de Beatles denken. Ik had ook een onderzeeboot gekocht, dus ik heb er een gele onderzeeboot van gemaakt. Ik heb weer de House & Fence Pop-Up (1015) gebruikt om de platenspeler te maken. Ik heb het tussenstukje bij de vouw eraf geknipt. Dus in dat stukje ruimte heb ik het mechanisme geplakt uit de nieuwe Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269). Zo heb ik de onderzeeboot laten bewegen.

Yellow submarine

Today a card for an adolescent boy who loves old things like music. Vinyl, music from the 80s and he plays guitar. So I immediately thought of the Beatles. I also bought a submarine, so I turned it into a yellow submarine. I have the House & Fence Pop-Up (1015) used to make the record player. I cut off the spacer at the fold. So in that bit of space I pasted the mechanism from the new Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269). That's how I made the submarine move.

Challenge card 79 "Bunny ears"

Voor deze uitdaging ben ik maar (weer) eens een konijn gaan ontwerpen. In de afgelopen release hebben we natuurlijk de Animals Add-ons 5 geïntroduceerd en dus dacht ik voor deze uitdaging aan een groot konijn. Voor het hoofd heb ik een cirkelpons van 2" inch gepakt. Voor het lichaam heb ik uit de dies van Karen's Circles - Crosshatch (1057) de 2,4" inch gepakt. De rest van mijn konijntje spreekt voor zich tot je bij de voeten aankomt. Voor de voeten heb ik de helft van deze kikkerbenen genomen en een stukje kleiner gemaakt tot ik tevreden was.

For this challenge I started designing a rabbit (again). In the last release we introduced the Animals Add-ons 5 and so I thought about a large rabbit for this challenge. For the head I used a 2" inch circle punch. For the body I used the 2.4" inch die from Karen's Circles - Crosshatch (1057). The rest of my bunny is self-explanatory until you get to the feet. For the feet I took half of these frog legs and made them a bit smaller until I was satisfied.

Ok, de basis van mijn kaart is gemaakt van de Spinner Square Pop-up (1042). De cupcakes komen van de Cupcake Add-ons (1241) en ik heb de koffiebonen uit de Tea and Coffee Borders (1270) gehaald. De mok die mijn konijn aan het knuffelen is komt uit de nieuwe set Tea and Coffee Pop-up (1269). Het schrijfgedeelte is van de Hexagons - Crosshatch (1225).

Ok, the base of my card is made from the Spinner Square Pop-up (1042). The cupcakes come from the Cupcake Add-ons (1241) and I got the coffee beans from the Tea and Coffee Borders (1270). The mug my bunny is cuddling is from the new Tea and Coffee Pop-up set (1269). The writing part is from the Hexagons - Crosshatch (1225).

Ok, daar ben ik weer

Soms is het gewoon een beetje druk. Met mantelzorg, mijn broertje bijstaan met zijn scheidingsdingen en dan ook nog even Japans leren. Allemaal erg leuk, maar tijd gaat dan wel erg snel voorbij. Even om het Japans leren verder te verklaren. In de zomervakantie gaan Ronald, Keyon en ik op vakantie en de reis gaat naar Japan. Een wens van Keyon. Ronald zei na het boeken van de reis dat hij wat Japans ging leren. Dat doet hij met Duolingo. Een geweldige app om een andere taal te leren. Dus nu zijn we met z'n alle Japans aan het leren. 

Vandaag drie kaarten voor mijn nichtjes. Hun oma is overleden en ik vond het een goed idee om voor alle drie een mooie kaart te maken. Ik vind de Paper Frames Pop-up (1122) een leuke dies om deze kaart te maken.Je bent namelijk in de gelegenheid om het een beetje speels op te hangen. De sering die ik gebruik is van Stampin'Up! en de vlindertjes van Marianne Design. Op de voorkant staat de tekst With Sympathy (1138) met nog wat bloemen en vlindertje.

Ok, here I am again

Sometimes it's just a bit busy. With the care of my in-laws, helping my brother with his divorce matters and then also learning Japanese. All very nice, but time passes very quickly.

Just to explain learning Japanese. During the summer holidays, Ronald, Keyon and I will go on holiday and the trip will go to Japan. A wish from Keyon. After booking the trip, Ronald said he was going to learn some Japanese. He does this with Duolingo. A great app to learn another language. So now we're all learning Japanese.

Three cards for my nieces today. Their grandmother passed away and I thought it would be a good idea to make a beautiful card for all three. I think the Paper Frames Pop-up (1122) is a nice die to make this card. You have the opportunity to hang it up a bit playfully. The lilac I am using is from Stampin' Up! and the butterflies from Marianne Design. The front features the text With Sympathy (1138) with some flowers and a butterfly.

Grote bedeltjes

Om de laatste dag voor de blog hop jullie toch nog een kaart te geven, heb ik de kaart voor mijn schoonmoeder gepakt om iets over te schrijven. Ik wilde wat grotere bedeltjes gebruiken met een kaart. Ik heb de Fancy Label Accordion (1043) gepakt en heb de binnenkant eruit gestanst. Zo had ik meer plek voor grotere bedeltjes. De bloemen komen uit de Fun Flower (1234) en de Twist Flower Pop-up (1239). 
Ik heb een nieuwe soldeerbout. Een klein schattig ding, waarmee ik kleine ringetjes makkelijk kan dicht maken. De drie grote bedeltjes heb ik aan ringetjes gehangen en dicht gesoldeerd. Wat geweldig ging dat. Snel en makkelijk. Dus ik denk dat er meer kaarten gaan komen met bedeltjes.

Big charms

To give you a card on the last day before the blog hop, I took the card for my mother-in-law to write something about. I wanted to use some larger charms with a card. I took the Fancy Label Accordion (1043) and punched out the inside. This way I had more room for larger charms. The flowers come from the Fun Flower (1234) and the Twist Flower Pop-up (1239). 
I have a new soldering iron. A cute little thing, with which I can easily close small rings. I hung the three large charms on rings and soldered them shut. How wonderful that went. Fast and easy. So I think there will be more cards with charms.

Laatste sneak peek kaart

Vandaag een combinatiekaart. Aan de rechterkant heb ik de Cupcake Pop-Up Die Set (1008) op een nieuwe manier gebruikt. Ik heb hem als een glue-in gemaakt. Naast de cupcake heb ik de nieuwe die gebruikt van de Tea and Coffee pop-up (1269). Zo heb ik de schattige nijlpaard uit de cupcake laten komen. De toefjes op de hoofdjes van de nijlpaardjes komen uit de nieuwe Baking Borders (1267).

Dit is de laatste sneak peek kaart. Op maandag rond 15:00 uur mijn tijd is er weer een bloghop.

Last sneak peek card

Today a combination card. On the right, I used the Cupcake Pop-Up Die Set (1008) in a new way. I made it as a glue-in. In addition to the cupcake, I used the new one from the Tea and Coffee pop-up (1269). This is how I made the cute hippo come out of the cupcake. The tufts on the heads of the hippos come from the new Baking Borders (1267).

This is the last sneak peek card. There will be another blog hop on Monday around 3:00 PM my time.

 

Bijna dezelfde kaarten

Het begon gewoon met wat oefenen. De nieuwe Lorna Label (1266) wilde ik even uitproberen. Tja en wat doe je dan als het allemaal gewoon lukt. Nou dan maak je er drie verschillende van door ze verschillend te versieren. Naast de Lorna Label heb ik bij alle de Happy Birthday 1030, de shadow (1179) en de Rectangles - crosshatch (1054) gebruikt.

Voor de eerste kaart is versierd met de Fun Flowers (1234) en de giraf uit de Safari Animals (1127). De twee de andere bloemen en vlinders uit de Fun Flowers. De derde heeft een Nijlpaard uit de Safari Animals (1127) en de verjaardag kaarsjes komen uit de Birthday Candle add-ons (1258).

Almost the same cards

It just started with some practice. I wanted to try out the new Lorna Label (1266). Well, what do you do if it all just works out? Well then you make three different ones by decorating them differently. In addition to the Lorna Label, I used the Happy Birthday 1030, the shadow (1179) and the Rectangles - crosshatch (1054) for all of them.

The first card was decorated with the Fun Flowers (1234) and the giraffe from the Safari Animals (1127). Number 2 I used the other flowers and butterflies from the Fun Flowers. The third has a Hippopotamus from the Safari Animals (1127) and the birthday candles are from the Birthday Candle add-ons (1258).
