Dino Avontuur in de Arcologie

Vandaag deel ik op mijn blog een speciale kaart die ik heb gemaakt voor iemand die helemaal gek is op archeologie. Gewapend met mijn "Tent Pop-Up (1048)" ben ik aan de slag gegaan. 

Als achtergrond heb ik een leuke stempelset van Stampin’Up! gebruikt met dino’s en botjes. De witte botjes heb ik geëmbossed met poeder, waardoor ze echt van het papier afspatten. Voor de botjes op de tent heb ik de "Pirate Borders (1281)" erbij gepakt – de kleine botjes van de piratenhoed zijn daar perfect voor. 

Voor de rand koos ik de "Halloween Borders (1247)". Natuurlijk mocht er ook een diertje bij: mijn keuze viel op het wasbeertje uit de "Woodland Animals Die Set (1001)". Hij houdt een schepje vast uit de "Garden Charms (1085)", en naast de tent staat een lampje uit de "Camping Charms (1049)". 

Als finishing touch prijkt de tekst Happy Birthday op de voorkant.

Dino Adventure in the Arcology

Today on my blog I’m sharing a special card I made for someone who absolutely loves archaeology. Armed with my "Tent Pop-Up (1048)", I got started right away. 

For the background, I used a fun Stampin’Up! stamp set with dinosaurs and bones. The white bones were heat embossed with powder, making them pop right off the page. On the tent, I added bones from the "Pirate Borders (1281)" set – the tiny skull-and-bones from the pirate hat were just the right size. 

The border was created with the "Halloween Borders (1247)". Of course, I couldn’t resist adding an animal: I chose the raccoon from the "Woodland Animals Die Set (1001)". He’s holding a little shovel from the "Garden Charms (1085)", and right next to the tent I placed a lantern from the "Camping Charms (1049)". 

To finish it all off, I added a cheerful Happy Birthday on the front.
