Woven Basket

Ik vind de nieuwe woven basket geweldig. Keyon had nog een kaart nodig voor een vriendin die hij was vergeten. Dus om het goed te ben ik helemaal los gegaan met poezen. Het mandje heb ik van goud gemaakt net als de shadow happy birthday.

I love the new woven basket. Keyon needed another card for a friend he had forgotten. So to make it right I went all out with cats. I made the basket of gold just like the shadow happy birthday.

Voetbal!!

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor iemand die van voetbal houd. Dus weer een kaart met de nieuwe release. Samen met de 50 kerstkaarten die ik aan het maken was en al die kaarten met dingen van de nieuwe release die ik niet mocht delen, nu eindelijk weer als van ouds, regelmatig een kaart op mijn blog. De kerstkaarten zijn gisteren op de post gegaan, dus ik kan me nu weer concentreren op verjaardagen en mijn journaal die ik ga maken van mijn vakantie naar Disney Wold. Op 25 december vliegen Keyon en ik naar Amerika en gaan dan genieten van 10 dagen Disney. Maar goed, de kaart, deze is gemaakt voor een jongen die van voetbal en krokodillen houd. Ik ben zo blij met de voetbal in de nieuwe release. Ik heb hem al zoveel gebruikt. Hij is alleen te groot om als charm te gebruiken voor deze kaart, dus ik heb het meer als versiering gebruikt.

Soccer!!

I made this card for someone who loves soccer. So another card with the new release. Together with the 50 Christmas cards I was making and all those cards with things from the new release that I wasn't allowed to share, now finally back to normal, a regular card on my blog. The Christmas cards went in the mail yesterday, so I can now focus again on birthdays and my journal I will be making of my vacation to Disney Wold. On December 25, Keyon and I will fly to America and then enjoy 10 days of Disney. Anyway, the card, this one was made for a boy who likes soccer and crocodiles. I am so happy with the soccer in the new release. I've used it so much already. It's just too big to use as a charm for this card, so I used it more as an embellishment.

Leeuwen en auto's

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt toen ik net de nieuwe release binnen had gekregen. Ik opende de deur, daar stond de man van Fedex. Na het aannemen en bedanken heb ik hem opengetrokken en ben gaan knutselen. Ik had een leuke kaart nodig had voor een jongetje die jarig was. Noud houd van leeuwen en auto's. Dus mijn kaart heeft leeuwen in een auto. Ik ben gaan spelen met de nieuwe BAMbox. Dit is mijn nieuwe favoriet. Je kan hem namelijk overal op je kaart neerzetten. Deze kaart heeft er drie. Scroll even naar beneden en daar kun je een foto vinden waar ze zich bevinden.

Lions and cars

I made this card when I just received the new release. I opened the door, there was the man from Fedex. After accepting and thanking, I opened it and started tinkering. I needed a nice card for a boy's birthday. Noud likes lions and cars. So my card has lions in a car. I started playing with the new BAMbox. This is my new favourite. You can place it anywhere on your card. This card has three. Scroll down a bit and there you can find a picture where they are located.

December Designer Challenge 65

Als challenge (fireplace die through the year) moesten we allemaal een thema kiezen om de fireplace die (1210) te gebruiken. Ik heb het thema Patriotic gekozen. Zoals het mij is uitgelegd, was het zoiets als trots zijn op je land. Ik heb het vermoeden dat ze de 4th of july bedoelde. Maar ik ben een Nederlandse, dus ik wilde heel iets anders doen. Ik dacht meteen aan oranje, onze leeuw, koningsdag en tulpen. Ergens verscholen is ook nog een voetbal te zien. Leuke rood, wit en blauwe potjes met wat plantjes. Ook heb ik een appel aan de leeuw gegeven. Iets met geschiedenis en New York (Big Apple) die ooit in Nederlandse handen was en New Amsterdam heette. 

December Designer Challenge 65

As a challenge (fireplace die through the year) we all had to choose a theme to use the fireplace die (1210). I chose the theme Patriotic. As it was explained to me, it was like being proud of your country. I suspect she meant the 4th of July. But I'm Dutch, so I wanted to do something completely different. I immediately thought of orange, our lion, King's Day and tulips. There is also a soccorball hidden somewhere. Nice red, white and blue pots with some plants. I also gave an apple to the lion. Something with history and New York (Big Apple) that was once in Dutch hands and was called New Amsterdam.

Sneakpeek

Vandaag, na een lange tijd, weer een blog. Ik had wel wat kaarten, maar die had ik met de nieuwe release gemaakt, dus die moesten even wachten. Laat ik beginnen met een kaartje voor mijn buurjongetje die op 8 november is geboren. Toen ik de nieuwe dies voor het eerst zag had ik meteen een idee om deze kaart voor Kaj te maken. Deze blokken van Kaj heb ik een beetje naar voren geplakt. Als je de kaart wil dichtvouwen dan moet je de twee onderste blokken naar achter plat drukken en de bovenste naar achteren. De tweede kaart is voor een meisje. Hier heb ik nog geen bestemming voor. De blokken van deze kaart staan meer naar achteren. Dus als je deze kaart wilt dichtklappen, dan moet je de twee onderste naar voren en de bovenste naar achteren vouwen.

Today, after a long time, another blog. I did have some cards, but I made them with the new release, so they had to wait. Let me start with a card for my neighbor boy who was born on November 8th. When I first saw the new dies I immediately had an idea to make this card for Kaj. I glued these blocks from Kaj a little to the front. If you want to fold the card, you have to press the two bottom blocks to the back and the top to the back. The second card is for a girl. I don't have a destination for this yet. The blocks of this card are further back. So if you want to close this card, you have to fold the bottom two forwards and the top two backwards.

Hieperdepiep hoera

Vandaag is Lisa May jarig. Dit is de kaart die ik voor haar heb gemaakt. Heerlijke ijsjes! Jullie zullen even wat minder kaarten zien, omdat ik nu een begin ga maken aan de 50 kerstkaarten. Ook ben ik met de nieuwe release bezig, maar die mag ik pas in de eerste week van december aan jullie laten zien.
Voor deze kaart heb ik de Fancy Label Accordion (1043) gebruikt. De "happy birthday tot you" heb ik met Mini Alphabet and Numbers (1197) gemaakt. De ijsjes zijn van Lawn Fawn. Een leuke kaartje voor een meisje. 

Hip hip hooray

Today is Lisa May's birthday. This is the card I made for her. Delicious ice creams! You will see less cards for a while, because I will now start working on the 50 Christmas cards. I'm also working on the new release, but I'm not allowed to show it to you until the first week of December.
For this card I used the Fancy Label Accordion (1043). I made the "happy birthday to you" with Mini Alphabet and Numbers (1197). The ice creams are from Lawn Fawn. A cute card for a girl.

Karen Burniston's designer challenge 63 Snowman

Vandaag de challenge kaart van de maand november. Maak een kaart met een sneeuwpop. Ik heb er voor gekozen om een pop-up te kiezen die allerlei thema's aankan. The Ice Cream Sundae Pop-up (1082). Ik vond het wel leuk om de sneeuwpoppen als ijsjes te zien. Zo zit er eentje in het schaaltje, De andere houd het lepeltje vast en eentje met saus op zijn hoofd. Naast het rechthoekige schrijfstukje ligt een sneeuwman een beetje te smelten. Zijn hoedje ligt al onder het schaaltje. Een leuk kerstverhaaltje.

Karen Burniston's designer challenge 63 Snowman

Today the challenge card of the month November. Make a card with a snowman. I have chosen to choose a pop-up that can handle all kinds of themes. The Ice Cream Sundae Pop Up (1082). I liked seeing the snowmen as ice creams. One is in the dish, the other is holding the spoon and one with sauce on his head. A snowman is melting a little next to the rectangular piece of writing. His hat is already under the dish. A nice Christmas story.
