De uiltjes wilde ik in de kaart, omdat de jarige job heel erg van uiltjes houd. Waarom dan de narcissen. Nou ik had net een nieuwe die van Stampin'Up! gekocht en wilde die even uitproberen. De bloem bestaat uit twee lagen. De licht gele en de iets donker gele. Dan stapel je ze op en dan worden het 4 lagen. Dus tegen de tijd dat ik alle bloemen mooi over elkaar had heen geplakt, klapte ik de kaart dicht en was het mijn meest dikke kaart die ik ooit had gemaakt. Gelukkig was hij 45 gram en kon ik hem nog met twee postzegels versturen. Ik moest wel een aparte envelop maken. Door de dikte paste hij net niet in een gewone envelop.
Owls and daffodils
I wanted to put the owls in the card, because the birthday boy loves owls very much. Then why the daffodils. Well I just got a new one from Stampin' Up! bought it and wanted to try it out. The flower consists of two layers. The light yellow and the slightly dark yellow. Then you stack them up and then they become 4 layers. So by the time I'd glued all the flowers over each other, I flipped the card shut and it was my thickest card I've ever made. Fortunately it was 45 grams and I could still send it with two stamps. I had to make a separate envelope. Due to its thickness, it just didn't fit in an ordinary envelope.
