Biertje

Mijn man wilde zijn collega even feliciteren met zijn promotie, dus vroeg hij aan mij om een mooie kaart te maken. Zijn collega is een bier drinker, dus ik dacht meteen aan de six-pack bier. Ook had ik leuk bier papier gescoord. Ik vind hem echt geweldig geworden.

Beer

My husband wanted to congratulate his colleague on his promotion, so he asked me to make a nice card. His colleague is a beer drinker, so I immediately thought of the six-pack of beer. I also scored some nice beer paper. I think it turned out really great.

Challange card 75: What's cooking

Voor deze challange moest ik de Oven Pop-up (1250) gebruiken. Ik had voor de release al een idee om een vieze keuken to maken. Een poes die er een beetje een zootje van maakt. Maar omdat ik toen niet zoveel tijd had, heb ik hem nu maar gemaakt. Zoals je ziet ligt er overal beslag en sprinkels. Koekjes die gebakken zijnm maar ook koekjes die nog in de oven moeten. De icing op de koekjes zijn gemaakt van de cupcake sprinkels (Cupcake Add-ons(1241)). Bekijk de foto maar goed dat zie je iedere keer wat anders.

Challange card 75: What's cooking

For this challenge I had to use the Oven Pop-up (1250). Before the release I already had an idea to make a dirty kitchen. A cat that makes a bit of a mess. But because I didn't have much time at the time, I made it now. As you can see, there is batter and sprinkles everywhere. Cookies that have been baked, but also cookies that still need to be put in the oven. The icing on the cookies is made from the cupcake sprinkles (Cupcake Add-ons(1241)). Take a good look at the photo, you will see something different every time.

De eiffeltoren

Wat vind ik de Eiffeltoren toch geweldig. En over de Eiffeltoren gesproken. Ik ga over iets meer dan een week met Ronald naar Parijs. Dan ga ik voor het eerst in de Eiffeltoren. Ik heb er al een paar keer voor gestaan, maar toen vonden de mensen met wie ik was het te druk. Dus dan zeg ik al gauw, ok, komt nog wel eens een keertje. Dus na jaren daar grapjes over gemaakt te hebben, is het dan bijna zover. Ik heb er erg veel zin in. 

Maar goed, nu even over de kaart. Deze kaart is voor Roos en Roos is het tweelingzusje van Guus. De vorige blog stand de kaart van Guus. Roos houd van make-up dus ik dacht meteen aan Parijs. En dan is de weg erg kort om dan ook de Eiffeltoren van Karen erbij te pakken. Roos is fan van de kleur blauw. De jurk is van Marianne Design.

The Eiffeltower

I think the Eiffel Tower is amazing. And speaking of the Eiffel Tower. I'm going to Paris with Ronald in just over a week. Then I go to the Eiffel Tower for the first time. I've been in front of it a few times, but then the people I was with thought it was too busy. So then I quickly say, okay, I'll come again sometime. So after years of joking about it, the time has almost come. I'm really looking forward to it. 

Anyway, now about the card. This card is for Roos and Roos is Guus's twin sister. The previous blog shows Guus's card. Roos loves make-up so I immediately thought of Paris. And then the road is very short to include Karen's Eiffel Tower. Roos is a fan of the color blue. The dress is from Marianne Design.

Na een kleine stilte

Hier weer een blogje van mij. Ik had even privé wat dingen waar mijn aandacht naar moest gaan. Vandaag weer even de rust gevonden om een blog te schrijven. 

Ik moest een kaart maken voor een jongen die 14 is geworden. Als hobby heeft hij gamen, dus ik heb mijn controller die weer tevoorschijn gehaald. Als basis heb ik de Little Twist Panel Pop-up (1232) genomen. En de twee controllers hebben veel beweging. Dat maakt de kaart spectaculair. De "Happy Birthday" heb ik op een beeldscherm geplakt.. De vlaggetjes komen uit de Slim Flaps and Frames (1162).

After a little silence

Here's another blog from me. I had some private things that needed my attention. Today I found some time to write a blog again. I had to make a card for a boy who turned 14. He enjoys gaming as a hobby, so I took out my controller again. I used the Little Twist Panel Pop-up (1232) as a basis. And the two controllers have a lot of movement. That makes the card spectacular. I glued the "Happy Birthday" onto a screen. The flags come from the Slim Flaps and Frames (1162).

Halloween verjaardag

Vandaag een kaart voor mijn schoonzusje. En omdat ze zo dicht bij Halloween jarig is, heb ik dit jaar een Halloween kaart voor haar gemaakt. Als basis heb ik de Landscape Rectangle Accordion (1198) en de  Fence Add-ons (2014) genomen. Vervolgens heb ik hem versiert met Witch and Cauldron (1249), Halloween Borders (1247), Skeleton and Bat (1206), de bloem van de Backyard Charms (1130) en de paddestoelen komen uit de Backyard Charms (1130) en Mini Ball Add-ons 1 - Gnomes (1202). Als laatste heb ik de Happy Birthday (1030) en Happy Birthday shadow (1179) gebruikt.

Halloween birthday

Today a card for my sister-in-law. And because her birthday is so close to Halloween, I made her a Halloween theme birthday card this year. As a basis I used the Landscape Rectangle Accordion (1198) and the Fence Add-ons (2014). I then decorated it with Witch and Cauldron (1249), Halloween Borders (1247), Skeleton and Bat (1206), the flower from the Backyard Charms (1130) and the mushrooms are from the Backyard Charms (1130) and Mini Ball Add -us 1 - Gnomes (1202). Finally, I used the Happy Birthday (1030) and Happy Birthday shadow (1179).

Blikkie zegt "bedankt"

Als we alle drie van huis zijn, dan hebben we iemand nodig om onze schat eten te geven. Blikkie is onze poes en als we weg zijn geven de buren haar eten. Deze vakantie was Keyon in Zuid Korea en Ronald en ik gingen België onveilig maken. Ondanks dat onze vakantie niet zo lang was, had ik wel een mooie bedank kaart voor de buren gemaakt. Voor de kaart heb ik Paper Frames Pop-up (1122) gepakt en vol geplakt met bloemen. De poes is Marianne Design. Om een stukje te kunnen schrijven heb ik voor de Labels - Crosshatch (1184) gekozen. Deze is lekker speels. En op de voorkant de Thank You (1066).

When all three of us are away from home, we need someone to feed our darling. Blikkie is our cat and when we are away the neighbors feed her. This holiday Keyon was in South Korea and Ronald and I went to make Belgium unsafe. Even though our vacation wasn't that long, I did make a nice thank you card for the neighbors. For the card I took Paper Frames Pop-up (1122) and covered it with flowers. The cat is Marianne Design. To be able to write a piece, I chose the Labels - Crosshatch (1184). This one is nice and playful. And on the front the Thank You (1066).

Designer Challenge 74, Jack-o-lantern

Vandaag is het weer tijd voor de maandelijkse challenge kaart. Het onderwerp is een jack-o-lantern. Geen idee hoe we dat in het Nederlands noemen. Halloween is nog niet zo groot hier in Nederland. Ik heb voor deze kaart de Fancy Label Accordion (1043) als basis genomen. Ik heb een grote pompoen opgezocht en gezorgd dat hij er tussen paste. Net als bij de Landscape Rectangle Accordion (1198) en de Fence Add-ons (1240). Het principe is hetzelfde. De achterkant heb ik netjes weggewerkt. Als randje kwam de nieuwe Halloween Borders (1247) goed van pas. Ik vind het zo een gave rand. Dus ik was blij dat ik hem kon gebruiken. Om hem af te maken de Happy Halloween (1168).

Designer Challenge 74, Jack-o-lantern

Today it's time again for the monthly challenge card. The subject is a jack-o-lantern. No idea what we call that in Dutch. Halloween is not that big yet here in the Netherlands. I used the Fancy Label Accordion (1043) as a basis for this card. I found a large pumpkin and made sure it fit in there. Just like with the Landscape Rectangle Accordion (1198) and the Fence Add-ons (1240). The principle is the same. I neatly concealed the back. As an edge, the new Halloween Borders (1247) came in handy. I think it's such a cool edge. So I was happy to use it. To top it off the Happy Halloween (1168).
